- Hi Friends (new and old),
Welcome to my solo channel, REGRETLYSS. This is my space to document my journey, both internally and externally. A sort of video diary if you will. As many of you know I recently went through a breakup, and after a few months of reflecting and healing, I feel like I'm coming home to myself. I'm not sure how this channel will evolve, as it will grow and shift as I do. Please know that by subscribing to this channel you're following me, a person, and not just my bus, #TheLuckyBus . This channel contains bus life, women's empowerment, self discovery, travel.... but the bigger narrative is of a woman coming into herself and making sense of this wild world. I'm not sure what lies ahead of me down the road, but I'm so excited for the ride, and grateful you're along with me. This vlog will catch up you on what I've been up to these past few months. Let's start the journey back in November 2020.

I used to live in Tucson. You did the right thing by backing off when you came across the Javelinas. They are commonly referred to as pigs but they are not. Pigs were brought over from Europe or Asia. Javelinas are considered Peccaries and are entirely New World animals. They travel in herds and a group can number as many as 20. So if you saw about 5 or 6 there possibly were more. They are generally not aggressive and attacks against humans are rare. However, coyotes are a natural enemy for Javelinas. So what put them into defensive mode was probably your dog. They have poor eyesight but a keen sense of smell. I'm going to assume that the cactus that stuck to you and your dog were Cholla balls. When I hike through the desert I carry a large comb in my pocket. That way if Cholla balls get stuck to my pant legs I can just "comb" them off. That way I don't even have to touch them. I am very anxious to see your future travels back east and how the camping experience compares to being out west. Continued safe travels.
We ran into Javalinas in Sedona right in the middle of a neighborhood! Surreal experience! :)
A family of 12 Javelinas lived under my daughter's housing in Big Bend National Park, cute but fierce.

My home base is in Charlotte NC but I travel all over. I just came across your page looking for bus builds. I think I like the space of a small bus. Currently rocking a off road van with my pup and guitar. Safe travels.

New subscriber and am looking forward to watching. I saw you on another channel that was featuring School Bus conversions as I am so entranced by them. I then tried to find you using Regretless and wasn't seeing it because of the spelling. I did finally see it under "just Keep Moving". Thats when I saw the final video there and a link was attached. Very heart wrenching but could tell that you and he both carry a love and respect for each other and for whatever reason that ended, it did so amicably and was a beautiful video with incredible editing. Looking back to the trip, I'm thinking that, like life, it is hard and needs a lot of effort but the rewards are truly worth it in the long run. You experience a lot and learn a great deal about the self and meeting challenges.

Put An Aluminum Insulation Strip Around The Inside Edge; Sometimes Air Pressure Will Cause it, So By Keep Ur Windows Open Or Closed, Will Eliminate It.
Reo was such a good dog, saved from the wild hogs. Some folks may feed the hogs but ya never know. Reo saved the day🐕
I was camping in Williams, all my 11 cats were out on leads. I looked over and saw a peccary standing at the edge of my camp. It was scoping the scene, and I just knew it wanted to cross my camp. I had a feeling it had a baby with it. So I talked to it, while putting my cats in the vehicle. Sure enough, when the coast was clear, it started to cross exactly as I thought, and then a baby came out of the brush and ran after mom. It was an extraordinary interaction. It actually waited for me to move 7 cats out of its way!
Well be safe. I'm from NC. I lived there all my life until about 5 years. Enjoy your stay there with your family.

Alyssa, I live in the area you were in in this video, and you did the right thing. Wild bores are pretty mean, if you run into bears make as much noise as you can and they will leave you alone. they might try to come back, if they do, make a lot of noise again and they will leave for good.

No, that would have been nice. And I did watch some of the other videos. Every time I have heard someone refer to a woman as a "babe" it came with a couple of hip thrusts. Seems in this case you are more easily offended than I am. I may seem old to you, you seem very young to me.

Yes, I agree that can be challenging even though the transition is all good, and that's me, I am going through things myself, and I am believing that my future is bright because there are a lot of opprotunities that are coming my way, but right now, everything is extremely busy beyond anything, and I am so exhausted. but it really is a good thing because I will be going into business, and I want to save up for a bus like yours, I think that it will be exciting but I still have to exercise being careful like you. Being safe, but that is important.
