Hmm. I'm only three days and 30 years older than you. I ran across your channel while trying to see if the bus/van lifestyle was something I wanted to try after the wife died a few years ago. I think so, yes. Starting next year. What attracted me to your story is that you were a wanderer in search of yourself and a place to call home. I did much the same long ago, roaming from once place to the next until I found where I fit. But now my home no longer feels like home, and the life I had is no more. I suppose it a foolish endeavor, but soon I will once again go wandering in search of myself. My time grows short for such things, but perhaps I will again find a place where I fit.

Well, I think this video was just about a person whom over all, is winning in life. Not all the time, cause no one wins all the time. Each little win is another step, a victory that you may have seen or not seen coming. Each loss is just a lesson to help you get to the next win. It's a journey and when done right it becomes a fulfilling life.
The biggest lie I remember being told as a kid was from teachers who would say, “These are the best years of your life.” When adults are bullied at work, they can (and often do) sue for harassment and damages. Yet when kids are bullied at school, they’re supposed to just suck it up.
As always, your vulnerability is amazing. I was bullied so much in high school that I dropped out in 10th grade so I completely relate to your feelings of high school. You’re an amazing soul, Lyss! Keep up this journey of yours!!

What I like about it is your open honesty and the quality of your posts. At 66 years old, I'm a bit too old to still be making posts on RUclips, but I do enjoy watching those of others. Also to see how people in other countries think. I'm also following the development of your house with interest, partly because I'm an architect. A 130-year-old house like this is something special. In Germany, there are a lot of houses built of stone that are that old and almost no wooden houses. It's probably a bit different in America. I’m 51 and am just beginning the journey you talk about feeling like you can be yourself without the anxiety. I was married at 20 and was verbally abused throughout the marriage. My mother is still friends with my soon to be ex. I’m only now realizing how my spirit was trapped for so many years by worry of how I was perceived by others. I’m struggling now to find a job without fear of failure so I can be somewhat self sufficient. I am an artist but have never sold anything only given my work away because I am too shy to try to sell it. Thank you for this video it has given me a bit of courage listening to your words. That's pretty rough having to sit through that play... too bad you had to experience that and bullying, but glad you persevered. I went through a lot of garbage through elementary through high school too. I buried myself into music and playing guitar - it was my outlet. Don’t ever let anyone else set your expectations for you. You’re an amazing woman. I started watching when you were living in your bus, but have never commented before. I feel so lucky because I have never cared what anyone else thought about me, I have no idea where that comes from? It’s not that I am cocky, but I have always just tried to do my best at things in my life, that’s all you can do. My family was a mess, so I only knew I did not want to have a family of my own like that. I actually envy you. I wish I would have had the courage to live like you do! I’m retired now, with 3 grown children. My son lives next door to me, my daughter just moved 5 minutes away and my youngest son just graduated from college. My family is exactly what I wanted it to be. I see my children everyday and I love them so much! I’ve been married for 32 years to the love of my life! We lived in a 1925 house for a couple of years, I would hear children laughing in the house at night and sometimes smell cigarette smoke strong, although no one smoked in the house. I never told the person who we sold the house too about the kids laughing. The buyers told me he has heard the children laughing alot and even called some ghost hunters to check it out.

I'm following in many respects a very similar path just at a much later stage in life. I also left a very religious upbringing, but for me, after raising 4 kids. I did a ton of exploring different types of spiritual journeys but came to a great ease in life when I came across Abraham Hicks. I wish you much joy and love in your life. I do not believe it was a ghost, I believe it was your subconscious. One's mind and heart can be very powerful. I too had a similar experience with my family, school, and religion. I even stated I was more spiritual for over a decade. But for some reason - in the last few years - I have found my way back. More intrigued and curious than I was before, but still a bit leary of any "organized" banner. Finding authors and creators like Timothy Alberino, among others, has been an adventure. I am happy for you and pray you find the peace and fulfillment for which you are seeking.

What I like about it is your open honesty and the quality of your posts. At 66 years old, I'm a bit too old to still be making posts on RUclips, but I do enjoy watching those of others. Also to see how people in other countries think. I'm also following the development of your house with interest, partly because I'm an architect. A 130-year-old house like this is something special. In Germany, there are a lot of houses built of stone that are that old and almost no wooden houses. It's probably a bit different in America. I’m 51 and am just beginning the journey you talk about feeling like you can be yourself without the anxiety. I was married at 20 and was verbally abused throughout the marriage. My mother is still friends with my soon to be ex. I’m only now realizing how my spirit was trapped for so many years by worry of how I was perceived by others. I’m struggling now to find a job without fear of failure so I can be somewhat self sufficient. I am an artist but have never sold anything only given my work away because I am too shy to try to sell it. Thank you for this video it has given me a bit of courage listening to your words. I find myself coming back to your channel as I feel your a friend who I can speak freely, unlike my life. I am so sorry for what you have gone through and it saddens me that you admitted to being bullied. I am a bully, but for those who cannot or are too afraid to stand for themselves. I have felt the darkness of depression and have fought the urges just to end it already. But your one of those folks that lift my spirits, give me hope and makes me suffer through alone, although I do have my spouse. But he is hard to talk to, negativity and prickly. He’s not the man I feel in love with, but I refuse to give up. It’s my Japanese, German, and Irish backbone and still try to find a happy place to be with him. Thank you for sharing your spirit and how to try and overcome the negativity of general life. I live in Colorado as well but I escape to the woods to find the balm for my soul as my 2 puppies trying their best to show my that I am deserving of their love. That's pretty rough having to sit through that play... too bad you had to experience that and bullying, but glad you persevered. I went through a lot of garbage through elementary through high school too. I buried myself into music and playing guitar - it was my outlet. Don’t ever let anyone else set your expectations for you. You’re an amazing woman. I started watching when you were living in your bus, but have never commented before. I feel so lucky because I have never cared what anyone else thought about me, I have no idea where that comes from? It’s not that I am cocky, but I have always just tried to do my best at things in my life, that’s all you can do. My family was a mess, so I only knew I did not want to have a family of my own like that. I actually envy you. I wish I would have had the courage to live like you do! I’m retired now, with 3 grown children. My son lives next door to me, my daughter just moved 5 minutes away and my youngest son just graduated from college. My family is exactly what I wanted it to be. I see my children everyday and I love them so much! I’ve been married for 32 years to the love of my life! We moved out into the National Forrest 5 years ago, when I retired. You’re awesome and don’t you ever forget it!

We lived in a 1925 house for a couple of years, I would hear children laughing in the house at night and sometimes smell cigarette smoke strong, although no one smoked in the house. I never told the person who we sold the house too about the kids laughing. The buyers told me he has heard the children laughing alot and even called some ghost hunters to check it out.

What a fun eps. To stumble across for a first-time meeting! Although we have some huge differences, we also have some great similarities. I'm following in many respects a very similar path just at a much later stage in life. I also left a very religious upbringing, but for me, after raising 4 kids. I did a ton of exploring different types of spiritual journeys but came to a great ease in life when I came across Abraham Hicks. I wish you much joy and love in your life. Knowing it all comes when we can truly love ourselves and find the joy within ourselves 🎉❤🎉

I too had a similar experience with my family, school, and religion. I even stated I was more spiritual for over a decade. But for some reason - in the last few years - I have found my way back. More intrigued and curious than I was before, but still a bit leary of any "organized" banner. Finding authors and creators like Timothy Alberino, among others, has been an adventure. I am happy for you and pray you find the peace and fulfillment for which you are seeking.
