The NEW update seems to have issues with running the game as admin - if you have issues with the game starting OR crashing, turn off run as admin

yeah i'm having this same issue, tried correcting the run as admin its still happening. i tried scanning and repair but as of now i can no longer open my game.
@@djjoeyb92 make sure you turn off 'run as admin' on both the launcher and the game itself. The error stopped for me and I was able to play after that

I don't think it's necessary Warzone's fault.. it's a fairly demanding game so a system not setup optimally will more easily show its cracks.

I'd followed a guide of yours last year so I was halfway there.. but there's a few extra tweaks and suggestions in here too which seemed to really make a difference!
On my i9 9900x + RTX 2070 (@1440p), I've gone from FPS lows of 80fps in Downtown, to a framerate that seemingly NEVER drops below 100 fps no matter what!
Average FPS is closer to 130 now as opposed to 120 and seems to hit the higher values more readily!
Once again Panjno does all the heavy lifting so we don't have to! Thanks a bunch mate!
Hey man use renderworkercount 5 or test more. Here I use i7 9700k (5ghz) when I try render 4 with the video suggest my fps down to 80/90, when I change for 5, boost my fps to 170/195, I’m use 2070s.

Thank you, I didn’t realise how blurry my Warzone was before I changed the render resolution up, mine was on the lowest so I put it up a lot more and I set my frame rate to be able to go over 60FPS, my monitor can go up to 200FPS but my game usually gets around 65-70FPS but if I face the wall during gulag or look at the wall or ground, sometimes my FPS goes up to over 140 and one time I got it to go up to 185 for a second

For all those who say game wont launch after following guide it may be something to do with kernal driver... DO NOT try to run as administrator as this is what is stopping your game launching.. i worked through whole guide 1 step at a time and this is what breaks the install
HUGE. You saved me hours of redownloading and shit. I tried following this guide and ended up not being able to run it. I re-downloaded the game like 4 times through and through still not being able to run it. I decided to try again and had the same issue until I saw what you said. I got so nervous lol. Thanks!

I started playing Warzone just before the Cold War integration on my 4790k/980Ti machine on 1080p onmy 1080p/60hz monitor. Got major stutters on 8GB RAM, upgraded to 16GB and it was smooth as butter. But since Season 3 and Season 4 especially I got these weird hick-ups ever now and then where the game freezes for a half a second/1second and usually in the worst possible times, like in the middle of a gunfight, just before I want to open the parachute etc. Everything runs smooth as before on my PC except for Warzone/MW. I know it's not my PC or my internet connection. When I started Warzone I got around 100-110fps now I struggle to go over 70fps. Even if I lock the framerate at 60 and it stays there constantly it doesn't look like 60, more like 30fps, there is so much microstutter.

I hade a 4790K with GTX 1070, game started freezing and low FPS changed the GPU to RTX 3060 now game was smooth but still lot of difference between 4790k and RTX 3060 compatibilities, Changed the entire system and got an i7 9th gen with Zotac RTX 3060.

I've had a 980ti with the same issues,
Check your temps with msi afterburner and check your temp limit.
If it hits temp limits it clocks itself lower for lower temps, thus getting u stutter,
I've cleaned mine and added some new GC-extreme and no problems since.
Also, setting a manual fan curve to lower it helps if u cant replace the paste*
This tutorial have saved me so much time. From changing pc to factory reset. Each time I've returned here so thank you.

from your last warzone video, unless you specifically mention changes to settings in this video, can we assume to keep settings from the prior video?
It would be worth double-checking the Nvidia / AMD control panel sections of the video to be sure.
I believe some of the in-game suggestions have changed too (such as particle lighting and shadow resolution), so it might be worth watching in its entirety.

Your guides are great. Had a lot of help from you with the Warzone guide before this, but on this (not the advance part) i have started to get some issues with the performance after 2-3 games. have an RTX 3080 (not oc) INI file setting was set to 0.9. Tried 1.2 but had low frames on that. Not sure why my FPS dropped after some games.
Same here. I was getting anywhere from 20-30 extra frames but after a while it dropped by almost 50-80 frames. I noticed that using the Nvidia Sharpen filter caused a small decrease but using the Details filter was catastrophic. I was using both simultaneously before I made the changes and didn’t have major frame problems. I’m not sure what setting in this video may have caused the problem.
@@Nobba ok, i also use both since i think the original colors in Warzone seems washed out and blurry. So it you think if i remove Nvidia filters it will work again?
@@im_truse it’s possible that by not using the details filter you’ll see an improvement. However, I used details, sharpen, color, and the brightness filters before I tried the recommendations on the video and I was getting anywhere from 120-157 FPS. Since the video, with the same filters it’s now 100-120. I have a feeling it has something to do with the advanced.ini file and some of the windows optimizations. I used a system restore point to roll back to when everything was a little better but some of the changes I made didn’t revert back. So I’m still getting lower FPS. I’m going to play around with it. I’ll let you know what I find. Oh, one thing I noticed is that after the changes in this video, I can no longer overclock my ram. I don’t think this is a coincidence.
@@JoeWestminster going to try use the settings again from the older setup file, where the setting then was 0.6 in the INI file. Tryed 2 games of clash and 2 Solo BR verdansk and had 110-140, Quality, 110 fov with nvidia filters on. But I need to try more today to see if it stable.
@@im_truse i messed around with my settings. I restored the nvidia control panel global settings back to default. I'm now getting the frames I normally get before the changes. I'm also running NDI HDX for display capture and NVIDIA filters. HOWEVER, After an hour, I had one game where I dropped to below 100 fps. Had to close warzone and restart it. Then it was fine. I'll post my settings for you so we can compare. BTW I also have an Intel i9-10850K and my ram is running at 3200 mhz.
Please teach about how to set up Nvidia to get the best quality graphics for gaming on Android emulators (Bluestacks).

It really is a shame that we have to do this, BUT your video is a massive help, can confirm still valid in Season 6. Im running a Ryzen 3700x / 32GB Ram / RTX 3070 - I was averaging 80-90 fps in warzone yet 165 solid locked in cold war etc.. following your steps and leaving DLSS disabled I am now getting a solid average of 155fps, its not quite my 165 lock but its a huge improvement and it doesnt ever seem to drop below 130. Thanks man!
Great video very informative! However these settings for most part made mine worse. Mines buttery smooth with my renderworkercount at exactly what my cores are (6) no more no less and vram usage 0.55 for me works great. Give it a try. Mid range pc is what I have. Game mode off is better also.

Quick question tho, which DLSS version is the best for warzone/MW? I tried the latest version which was the 2.3.4 and it runned perfectly at first, but later on the game refuses to start on launch. I also noticed that each version was labeled "Source:" along with game titles so does that mean each version was made specifically for a specific game?
did u solve the problem with the game refusing to start on launch? I changed the DLSS to the latest and now when i try to launch the game it says "an error occurred while launching the game. Please check for updates or scan and repair to fix this issue"
@@rtxgod1330 So turns out the game doesn't load at all with the newest DLSS so we have no choice but to use the DLSS we have. Fortunately they did update the DLSS to at least 2.1.+
@@rtxgod1330 that error is not part of DLSS file, warzone is just shit. Look for a fix with the error your getting and there will be many fixs

Note- Windows 11 users don't disable Full screen optimization from compatibility tab as well as registry because full screen mode work perfectly in Windows 11 give less latency and bit good performance but if you disable Full screen optimization then your games frame time because unstable cause stutters, high latency

I've tried every single setting. I previously had the rx5600xt paired with a r5 3600. I swapped my gpu for a 3060ti. Coming to nvidia i had to learn more about the settings and the interface of the app. But still i havent made any progress boosting my fps which seems to be extremely worse and is considered a somehow downgrade from my previous 5600xt. I was averaging 110 ffps and max 140ish when looking close into walls. Now i average 70 fps? and it almost never surpasses 90? even when im inside a building i get around 75 and i cant wrap my head around that. I have no idea what else to try so i can enjoy this game on 1080p on my 144hz display.

Do we base the RendererWorkerCount off of our cores, or threads? It said cores, but the number in task manager was threads
You usually set rendererworkercount to half so if you have 8 you set it to 4 cores

I am deeply confused on how shadow resolution increases fps it should be the other way around as usually shadows are the most demanding thing in games.
If you set shadow resolution to low it doesnt actually make the shadows worser it just puts a filter on so it looks like it

Getting an error when I try loading the game now. Not sure I removed the old NVIDIA DLSS and added the new one correctly. You move super fast, which is cool for people who already know how to do it. But if I already knew how, I wouldn’t need your instruction. Does it matter where you put the download on the list where it shows the EXR files?

to fix the dev erros go on blizzard launcher then go on warzone select the settings next to play select modify install and select campaign spec ops multiplayer and all that and let it download for like 20 seconds then pause the download go back to modify install and deselect the boxes to stop the download now launch warzone and let the shaders load and this should work.
Damn, watched this whole thing and did everything and got an extra 30 frames when I loaded up. Had to restart my pc for something else, and it just went back to the way it was when I loaded Warzone up again. Ngl, I feel so defeated rn. I spent an hour tweaking this shit for it so just do absolutely nothing. Please some lmk if you know why this is happening

Starting the game in safe mode can stop settings from being saved, it was an issue for me.

Thank you very much for sharing all of these tips. I will take from here, and put it together with what I've gathered from other sources to ensure I've got the highest FPS as possible with my rather old GeForce 1650 Super OC and my Core i5 9400. 😅 Thankfully, I am able to get 120FPS at 1080p, which isn't too bad, but I'd much rather play at 1440p, but when I do, I get closer to 80FPS, which isn't so nice. Hoping I can get 100FPS at 1440p with 100% render resolution. I can easily get it if I lower the render resolution, but anything below 100% just doesn't look nearly as good/sharp.
Gtx 1060 6gb oc to almost 2000mhz, ryzen 5 2600 oc to 4.1mhz and 16gb ram 3200mhz and im getting 60-56 fps

Holy smokes, pushing 250+ downtown in this fricken game wat.. haaaa no way! 5900x 6900xt ultimate oc powercolor. Cl14 16x2 gskill. 1300psu evga x570 aorus pro wifi. 3tb ssd's omen x27 1440 240hz. Auto Oc with ryzen master auto oc with adrenaline. Went from barely 180 to 250+ . Hat off to you! Insane. Took a pic right on the edge of downtown 275. I'm on fiber too 1tb up 1tb down. For the record I didnt download a y extra programs, was happy with results after your ingame settings. Cheers. Happy gaming )
