I got your first question in my email. Yes do not screw the dipstick in. Page #4 on this PDF cdn.powerequipment.honda.com/pe/pdf/manuals/00X31VH7A030.pdf
I do not see any purpose changing the oil hot because it is liquid anyway and it comes out just the same. Then again I live in Florida and it is hot outside anyway. Good idea cleaning the oil pipe with a rag. My Honda self propelled mower takes 12 ounces of oil, and the Honda brand oil is premeasured exactly that amount. I only use the Honda brand oil because it is pre-measured.

@@Meandmyshadowaero thank you 🙏. I’ve seen other videos saying to use non-detergent oil in motors with no filter but you clearly proved your point with the manual reference. I learned something new.
Great video explanation Doug. Something I should do more often. I feel inspired now!
Thanks
400 ml looks right. 13.5 ounces = 400 ml called for in my mower which looks identical to yours. good job.

Could be wrong but I think motors without oil filters should have non-detergent oil.
Probably not a big deal though.
