Old Trafford is awful. As a United fan it’s hard to admit this, but it’s rusting, decaying, and has constant leaks. The only thing it has going for it is capacity and history.
If the Qatar gvt had bought it you would have the "new Trafford"
An International Lfc fan here:
I think its better than Anfield given all the circumstances
Yeah it's not that bad 😂
Only Saudi would have changed it
@@iftekhermahmud2459we don't want you anyways
Spurs stadium was the best experience I’ve ever had at a football match. Coughed up for the hospitality seat. Free pre-game food, free HT drinks, padded seats with arm rests, clean toilets nearby, friendly staff, safe surroundings. Overall…a great experience besides spurs losing that day.
I love how you describe an absolutely A+ experience, right up until you had to watch Spurs 😉
Always nice to watch the soccer isn’t it. Did you take a picnic hamper with you?
spurs losing makes it the best experience
prawn sarnies too?
Emirates is better
Emirates and Anfield behind Old Trafford guys you need to understand it is old
@alex90_.Anfield is more modernized than Old toilet you dumbie
Dont be salty coz your roof leaks 😂
As a utd fan hv to agree solely based on aesthetics and atmosphere anfeild ranks higher
@alex90_.Anfield has been redeveloped well .. whereas old Trafford has been largely left ignored ..that's the point
No shit Sherlock
Emirates looks nice, but I've seem better atmospheres at funerals
Honestly you could only rank old Trafford highly by not going there. It's falling to pieces.
Emirates Anfield And Etihad Stadium Below Old Trafford Is Crazy
Emirates Anfield arguable Etihad meh
@@christaylor1913 the atmoshpere is mid, but the astetics, matchday experience and the transport are all top tier. 11th is a joke
Atmosphere is important. They don’t call it the Emptyhad for nothing
How is Old Trafford up there. I'm a City fan so I may have bias, but isn't United's stadium basically deteriorating because they haven't renovated or upgraded the stadium since the Glazers took over
Atmosphere was one of the categories. Maybe that helped Man Utd rank so high. I know for sure thats why Citee ranked so low 😂
@@Papesauce even if it was a category, I'm pretty sure anfield is better than old trafford in that too
I've been to both and even though Old Trafford has better atmosphere, it shouldn't be that far ahead than us. We can walk to the stadium in 25 minutes from the city centre
United fan and yeah it's not been improved on in years
@@Ccirgrgand yet they can't manage to sell out. Pathetic
As a Spurs season ticket holder I only have positive feelings for the new stadium. The atmosphere is thunderous, the facilities are excellent, the shuttle bus service so convenient and easy to use. I look forward to going there. Well done Daniel Levy 😊 you deserve so much credit
Shame about the team, eh..???
Better than a trophy right 😂
As Spurs fan, the stadium is absolutely perfect, the transport there though is awful though.
Nearest station is White Hart Lane and the trains there are so infrequent and packed, that you’re better off walking from 30 mins away Seven Sisters. I just can’t understand why there’s not more trains to and from White Hart Lane on match days
If you can use the shuttle bus service. It’s excellent, free and frequent. Thoroughly recommended 😊
Cant handle a 20 minute walk huh?
@@zo7034 well I can, hence why I said it’s the best option. And it’s more like 30 mins. But in the pouring rain it’s really not ideal
Are people in London really this lazy and overprivelleged. A 30 minute walk is nothing
It’s almost perfect! I got a seat at the front row of the section, which when I got there, had a glass screen in front of it, but there was not enough leg room, I either had to do the splits or sit side saddle! Luckily the seat next to me was empty. I am tallish, 6’3”, but not ridiculously so!
as a united fan, im pretty sure there's more rust than actual metal at old traff
Saint James Park is my favorite, but I must admit that the Tottenham one is amazing. Not surprised to see them on the top 2, but Anfield deserves the third place.
Its not saint mate
Its St
St James Park
Or
St James' Park
@@Alan_Arklebro st is just a short way to say saint
Crystal Palace should be higher because of the atmosphere it is incredible
Old Trafford leaks more than the dressing room. How is it third 😮
It was a dry day 🌞
I’m a Bournemouth fan (so mabye ill be a bit bias) but I don’t think atmosphere is last (anymore itleast) I’ve been to every home game this season and unless we’re a few goals down we are consistently chanting and also Luton has a smaller stadium and the location ain’t even that bad it’s only a 20 min walk from the train station, has quite a big car park so for transport and it also has electric scooter parking and also bike parking so I think it should be higher.
Who takes their bike to a match you Flange
@@mltsrseen ppl do it
@@datoneguythatexists They must have been Flanges then
Kenilworth road is goated (its literally a back garden)
No way really? Never heard that mentioned before, how is it a back garden?
@@christaylor1913 it actually is not really a back garden but people say it because there are houses next to the stadium
@@shellshockersi people say that?
@@christaylor1913 some people do
Nothing wrong with Kenilworth Rd decent ground decent prices decent fans
Tottenham “we built four multimillion pound stands”
Bournemouth “we built a fourth stand in 2013”
Luton “you guys have stands?”
‘You guys have stands’
‘We have gardens’ 😂
Sheffield United’s Bramall Lane has to be higher. Oldest stadium in the world, matches were played there before most premier league teams were even founded. Atmosphere brilliant always has been, proper home of a football club…and i’m not even a Sheffield fan.
You're not a Sheffield fan??
Are you a SHEFFIELD UNITED fan. You also forgot to mention they were the first team to be called UNITED and scored the first premier league goal. Brian Deane against Manchester..........No not Manchester. Manchester United. Just like it's not Sheffield it's SHEFFIELD UNITED
Tottenham won something finally
Kid
@@Ryz999 you're the only kid, its just a joke bruv
We’ll take it
Lol f u
27 trophies. Some of which were a first for british clubs
I prefer a traditional football ground, it's about the football & not the fact that an £8 pint of beer & piss swimming through the toilets & crumbling stands, not to mention ticket prices. Even though I'm a season ticket holder at Anfleld, I'm happier going to watch Flint Town United these days & let my son go to watch Liverpool.
No way Old Trafford is 3rd. Surely a prerequisite of a good stadium is to have a fully functioning roof 😂
They told you quite clearly what categories they used to rank the stadiums.
City Ground been seriously underrated here.
nope
Definitely, I would say top 8.
Goodison park shouldn't be ranked this low. First of all its iconic .Second of all It has one of the best atmospheres in the prem. The only thing the grand old lady lacks is facilities
As a Brighton fan the Amex sucks for its location. Jesus Christ waiting for a train at Falmer after a game is not good
Remember the days when you was at the athletics ground come a long way since gotta take some rough with the smooth
I'm a Brighton supporter. When I lived in Preston I went to a match at the Amex on a Tuesday night. It took so long to get on the train by the time I reached London Victoria for the bus back north the last one to Preston left because I spent an hour in the cue at Falmer.
Had to take a bus to Birmingham and then wait for the train at 6am.
The Amex is literally in the middle of a forest 🌳 despite being home to a European team - Brighton & Hove Albion FC
Good on Spurs. Hope the investment pays off.
I’m a Spurs fan and glad to see us up top but I have to disagree with where you’ve put The Etihad. That belongs much further up the list, and definitely above Old Trafford!
Its fitting because its the only stadium thats actually modernization instead of every other stadium in the prem..
Mate this isn’t biased because I’m an Arsenal fan living in Brum but I’ve been to Villa a couple times and the atmosphere was absolutely fantastic
Old Trafford is a big toilet.
Don’t be mean
Old Toilet
I think newcastle should be top, loudest fans, City centre stadium, beautiful stadium and view from away end, cheap pints and over 100 pubs within a mile walking distance. Can't beat that like imo
Tottenhams stadium is better do
@@3pointsfc Cant disagree with the modern look but that's what 1B gets you. Nonetheless, St James Park should be top for location alone. Hope the club never move out of the city centre.
Newcastle is going to copy the Santiago Bernabeu and upgrade st James park!!! Can't wait 🏟️🎉🥳🎉
Whooooo
NUFC 🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤
But as a away family your just shoved up away from the pitch and the stairs are ridiculous
Molineux has always been underrated
The fact that Selhurst park is that low is insane, such good atmosphere
Probably because it's shit to get to and not very modern
I assume must be because of other categories, but a lot of people enjoy old style stadiums like selhurst park
Listen as soon as the new stand comes in ppl won't be sleeping on palace
It sucks I used to live near it
@@altymogo3781 yh it must've been too loud
Molineux 🐺🐺🐺
BAHAHAHA THE TOILET BOWL WON?!?!?!?
Newcastle’s location makes it win alone, city centre as it comes
Went to Old Trafford recently for the first time. I had very high expectations of the Theatre of Dreams. Got my seat in the Sr Alex F. Stand. However I was extremely disappointed with the view. The pitch view was great, but the roof came down so deep I could not see the rest of the stands. Awful. Could not perceive the atmosphere.
New stadiums zero atmosphere and interest, ugly stadiums which all pretty much look the same
Why is London Olympic Stadium (West Ham) & Manchester Commonwealth Stadium (Man City) so far down considering they are only 12-20 years old?!
Luton is great. Proper ground
West Ham have to be higher. Wolves is amazing rate it rlly well
Tottenham might win on asthetics, and the stadium design, but Atmosphere? No chance. Not even close to the majority of Northern Clubs. Transport? If youre already in London im sure its great, If youre one of the vast majority of fans living in England, everything in London is isolated in the south and a nightmare to travel to. Even travelling through the city is a disgusting, cramped nightmare..... Matchday experiences in London are never close to as good as in proper citys. Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Newcastle match day experiences are real matchday experiences.
While Brighton's may be remote, it is one of the few I can think of that has a railway station literally on the doorstep... I think only them, Brentford and Chelsea can say that about their stadium.
And for some reason Man United specifically asked Northern not to run trains to the stadium anymore, which will baffle me forevermore...
Man United 3rd, you pulling my pisser, no atmosphere at all 😂
Surprised Selhurst Park is so high..
I've been going there since 1996. I couldn't honestly tell anyone what improvements have been made. Aside from a lick of paint.
Coming after the waterfall in Manchester
Crystal Palace have the best fans in the league, so they must come near the top for atmosphere. Since that is one of the criteria, I’m not sure how they’re 18th!
Newcastle my favorite by a country mile. The fact its bang in the city centre and a short walk from train station and has best atmosphere.
The fact that Luton is higher rated than vitality is crazy it may be smaller but atleast you don’t have to basically walk through someone’s house
as a wolves fan W
Anfield 5th is outrageous
It is not that bad
NO IM BOURNEMOUTH FAN AND IM NOT HAVING IT
Dead location, Dead atmosphere, dead club.
@@Fisshhyy0 dead location, good atmosphere, good club
As a Newcastle fan, I'm not surprised ST James' is second
As a United fan, there's no way Old Trafford is above Etihad, Emirates, Anfield or even the West Ham stadium.
It only has high seating capacity, everything else is awful here.
I mean you can't argue with "beers from the bottom" can you?👍Coys 😂
Ha Ha yes but Anfield also has those contraptions that magically fill the plastic cup from the bottom.
Stamford bridge is underrated imo. Top 5 for me
Same
No chance. You had Bournemouth level atmosphere and attendances 20 years ago. The stadium has not improved that much since then. Plus Chelsea fans don't create a nice atmosphere.
@@bhvillaman4401 it really depends on they’re mood ngl. If they’re winning the atmosphere is awesome
Horrific list. Arsenal is a soulless bowl. Same with West Ham and City
Fulham, Palace, Everton all brilliant old school stadiums with character
👏
Yeah but palace isn't exactly like a cold night in stoke anymore. Nobody fears going to palace like they used to, and certainly not the old codgers at craven cottage. Everton I would say is level with villa.
City isn't as bad an atmosphere as utd is but that's probably because ones successful currently and the other isn't. When villa went down in 2016 we had attendances lucky to reach half our capacity. None of the fans could be bothered. I understand what you mean with arsenal but the north London forever song is top.
List should go as follows.
Liverpool.
Newcastle.
Spurs.
Villa.
Everton.
Arsenal.
Man c
Man u
@@bhvillaman4401Tottenham fears Craven Cottage now, 3-0...
Keep on crying
The Kenny being down the bottom is wild. 2nd best atmosphere in the league (can’t beat anfield) easy to get to with transport. Say what you will about the design and capacity but anyone who has gone to a luton game knows that the Kenny is amazing
As a liverpool fan, i was shocked im 5th
Old Trafford is not safe anymore. the roof is falling. even the Manchunian wrote a letter to the council how dangerous is OT.
As a wolves fan, I'm pretty happy, we are not usually this high in anything😅😅😅
Anfield way too low
Every other category must be a 10/10 for St. James' Considering we must've got a 0 for location since we are literally as far up the country possible.
It's obviously location relative to the city centre/transport. And it's bang on the centre
I’m a United fan and a totally disagree with Old Trafford being 3rd, because when I went to a match there it was raining and I was soaking wet through the whole game, not impressed with it….
How on earth does spurs win?
Surely the point of a stadium is watching a fun team challenging for trophies?
Aston Villa’s Villa Park is a very city centre stadium just like Newcastle’s St James’ Park
What? It’s by a train station yeah but it’s not in birmingham city center is it😂
As a spurs fan it pains me to say this is one of the few things we’ve ever won 😂
A joke of a list I’m sorry to say. Sanitized, characterless stadiums like Tottenham Stadium and the Emirates in the top 4 whilst amazing stadiums like Goodison, the City Ground and the Kenny are near the bottom? Goodison is without a doubt one of the best places to watch football in the country, the place just oozes character and always has a cracking atmosphere; it’s a crying shame they’re moving away. The Kenny is also without a doubt one the best stadiums in the country. Again, amazing character and usually a good atmosphere too.
Surely Selhurst park would be higher considering atmosphere, experience and transport? I know its an old stadium but yea
Im gonna be honest, im a Brighton fam and that 19th place atmosphere is deserved, we actually have one chant which is just "Albion, albion" i was also at a Hungarian second division match last year and that had a better atmosphere
As a wolves fan, thank you for the support that you have showed as our stadium in my opinion is really underrated.
Instead of spurs wasting 1B they could have gotten better players ** No offence to any Tottenham Hotspur player and support my 3rd favourite team is Tottenham
These guys obviously haven’t been to Old Trafford if they rank it this highly.
20 chances to get a right answer yet still got 0/20
Whilst transport isn’t great, the Amex deserves to be higher
How am i seeing brentfords lego stadium above Craven Cottage? Like the most aesthetically pleasing stadium in the country? 🤯
Been to way over 50 stadiums in my life. Including lower league in England and stadiums in Europe including Turkey. Amd Old Trafford is by far one of the worst stadiums i have been in. History wise amazing. Rest no.
Old Trafford third is a myth
How long will the history hold the roof up
Chelsea in mid table as per usual
The AmEx (brighton) has a train station right next to the stadium and we also have padded seats
Bramall Lane is sick wtf
I’m sorry, but coming from a West Ham fan…our stadium is garbage for football
The multi billion pound Tottenham stadium has delivered on multiple fronts, except the trophies one.
Tottenhams stadium is way overhyped
1. Emirates
2. Etihad
3. Tottenham
4. Anfield
25. Old trafford
I've seen multiple boxing events at spurs stadium and the beer filled from the bottom were terrible. Took ages. All foam and a complete gimmick. Was in the queue for over 35 minutes.
Old Trafford in third? The away end is derelict lol.
Whole stadium needs renovating
As a Man Utd fan i am shocked OT is 3rd. Was you drunk when you visited us???
Brighton's remote location? There's literally free travel included with the price of the ticket to get you to the ground by train or bus!!! 🤣
More atmosphere at a funeral then spurs stadium. Oh and the pints don’t fill from the bottom anymore 😂
St James Park upon Tyne is good bro
Villa Park below Molineux is crazy
not really.....same atmosphere, molineux top trumps it on city centre location, more and better pubs around it, better transport links both road and rail..........
🎶Old Trafford is falling down🎶🤫
Luton Town‘s Kenilworth Road is someone’s backyard
Having done all these away days as a chelsea supporter id have to say newcastle is the best, yes it's a fucking long train journey up there and you're in the gods but it's a great stadium, fans are decent enough and a night out up there is quality
Old Trafford being in the top half shows that none of you have visited in the last decade.
forest at 12 is wrong
I agree - I think Nottingham Forest‘s City Ground should be further up the table , I watched the FA Cup game between Forest and Man United and I loved the experience and atmosphere
Is that you Boo Nfc ?. Gaz the gooner 😊
There’s a place worse than Luton? Not sure I buy that. Some bias here obviously but this is a bit more…blatant.
Old Trafford is bottom 5 for stadium but top 3 for feels.
There is no reason except propaganda of the Theatre of Dreams to put the Swamp past Salford at 3. Monolithic but archaic, a cold cramped concrete block literally on waste industrial land between three commercial canals.
I went to watch Brighton Newcastle in fa cup in 2008 or something and it was bouncing, location was super easy with the city centre bus on match days, probably even better now, and Brighton bossed the game and the view was so intimate that the atmosphere is fantastic for the fans, no one up in the gods looking like ants
Old Trafford is too old
Tottenham, another souless bowl that looks like everyother ground? "Able to host NFL games" as a plus tells you everything you need to know
Thank goodness your opinion doesn't matter...
Let us know when you come up with a definition for "souless"
I agree, mate.
The NFL is huge whether you like it or not. Stop being a snob.
The NFL might be 'huge' in USA but in UK it is just a marketing exercise.
