I'm 73kgs or 162lbs. I'm use to a 90l board and my 1700cm2 axis 1150. I can get going in very light wind with my 90L and 6m.. Think dropping to a 80L would be too small?
Hey Dean, I'm 200lbs and currently on a 90L 5'2. Looking to go down to a 80L but I'm wondering how that volume is like when the wind drops to 9-10 kts. Is it noticeably more difficult to get the board planing above the water and on foil in those conditions given the shorter length? My level is intermediate. Thanks!
Hi Al. At 200 lbs that is a low wind limit and maybe a struggle. I need at least 11-12 knots to get the 80L board up. Check out the new video on the 90L board I just posted.
Great Video, Dean. I like all the different perspectives, especially UNDER the board view.
Thanks Neil 👍 it was a great day testing and trying different angle shots as well. Thank you for the feedback buddy.
