Hey Freedom Gorillas today we are going to explain the similarities and differences between the Holosun 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan and the 507K X2. We understand that it can be difficult to understand the differences when you don’t have them both in your hands. If you aren’t familiar with the ACSS Vulcan system, it’s essentially like an aim assist. There is a large outer ring that is not visible unless you do not have your dot centered. The large outer ring helps you “find the dot” when drawing the pistol. 507K Green: freedomgorilla.com/collections/holosun-507k-x2-red-green-dot-sights-mrs-reticle-32-moa-circle-2-moa-dot/products/holosun-507k-gr-x2-green-dot-32-moa-ring-2-moa-dot?yt 507K Red: freedomgorilla.com/collections/holosun-507k-x2-red-green-dot-sights-mrs-reticle-32-moa-circle-2-moa-dot/products/holosun-507k-x2-red-dot-32-moa-ring-2-moa-dot-black?yt 507K ACSS Green: freedomgorilla.com/collections/holosun-507k-x2-acss-vulcan-red-green-dot-sights-230-dotted-outer-ring-3-moa-dot/products/holosun-507k-x2-green-dot-acss-vulcan-reticle?yt 507K ACSS Red: freedomgorilla.com/collections/holosun-507k-x2-acss-vulcan-red-green-dot-sights-230-dotted-outer-ring-3-moa-dot/products/holosun-507k-x2-red-dot-acss-vulcan-reticle?yt Fitment Guide: freedomgorilla.com/blogs/news/holosun-pistol-optic-fitment-guide?yt
the ACSS is way faster in actual dynamic work, you can always turn off the ring but actual work meaning moving and shooting it’s second to none, the guys that say they don’t need it is because they stand on the x the whole time
This is completely true. Or in a high stress situation where your life may be in danger. Not so much when you're in a booth shooting paper targets, but that's not why we carry a gun. This sold me on the acss 507k for my new carry gun
Thank you, This confirms I want & need all the help I can get. The extra couple of dollars 30.00?? is nothing when spending around the 400.00 mark. If need be I will eat ramen noodles for a week or so.
IMO, it depends what you’re using the dot for. If you’re just on a flat range. A simple single dot will do. If you’re using for multi position shooting, shooting behind cover etc the ACSS will def help. Cost is nominal between the two optics. However, I do agree that practice using either reticle you use is most important. Thx for posting.
Excellent video, but I want to give you a heads-up the link reference to the mount fit was nothing but ads, and did not show me what I needed for the LCP max. My search for the LCP max was not helpful at all. Best of luck!
@@steve8189 at SHOT show viridian showed the only dot that will fit a LCP max, but it’s not out yet. Here’s a link to see it ruclips.net/user/shortsmbf5mHRgxOU?si=OxLDWLKSilMb0_gk

Actually I prefer the 407k for my carry guns. 6 MOA dot eliminates the need for the ACSS ring as it is super easy to pick up. For self defense, 3 MOA dot accuracy isn't near as important as the quick dot acquisition you get with the 6 MOA dot. As an added bonus, the 407 k is also the cheapest option. I have the 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan on my PDP. The Chevron, instead of a dot, is a little awkward to get used to.
Bro…I held in my hand a 507 C and a 507 Comp and I was shocked at how big they were!! Massive difference between the K and those two! DO NOT buy one online without seeing them in person!

🎯I have the 507K and the 507C. I prefer the dot of the range and the circle for carry. The 32 MOA is very easy to find and get on target for carry.🔫
That image on the standard version is far too cluttered to me. That ring should be MUCH thinner, and slightly farther away from the dot.

Thanks, I wondered what the difference was. 👍
I want & need all the help I can get. It is without question the ACSS, has my name on it in big lights.
Will the acss fit directly on a p365 xmacro directly with no adapter?
The 507K ACSS will the C will not
More great info. Easy to understand.
Do you sell the adapter so this can be mounted on a 43 x MLS

Is there a picatinny mount you could recommend for the acss optic?
Yes we have them on our website
