I was only an airman in the air force 1962 to 66 i know has nothing to do with these great men but seeing what goes on just brings back memories of attention and the salute . We did not get recognition it all went to sleep. I was 20 now i am 78. I know i could perform as they do.
The guys look great as always! I was never more proud to have them part of my life for many years.. We can dress up as no other - as can be seen! But when we are given an objective with the enemy of America on the other side of it, we are the meanest, toughest guys this side of Hell! Semper Fi!

I saw the same thing. I was stationed there from 83-83 and I still Snap-to in my head when I hear the Commands. But what's worse, you can hear someone in B'Co going to Present Arms. But on a Good Note, he got the message and recover well. Semper Fi Marines.
Which is funny partly because, "Present Arms" is not prefaced by, "Batallion..." "Battalion, attention! Present arms!" It's not like they practice this continually at 8th and I or anything.
Yeah I hateed being punished for something I didn't do. Some of that follows in civilian life after the Marines. I was in law enforcement for 25 years and saw some crappy leaders punish a whole squad for something one officer did. However I don't regret joining the Marines, it really set me up for life at a young age.
Quit crying. SgtMaj Kent did exactly what was practiced....yeah get off the grass because no one at 8th and I walks on the grass.....as the entire battalion walks on the grass. Clown
