Kantola Sabzi Recipe

  • Ingredients:
    • 1/4 kg Kantola
    • 1 medium-sized onion chopped
    • 1 green chilli, split
    • 1/4 cup water
    • 1/2 tsp Haldi
    • Salt as per taste
    • 1/4 cup peanuts, roasted & crushed
    • 1/4 cup coconut, grated
    • Juice of 1/2 lemon
    • 2 tbsp coriander, chopped
    Instructions:
    • In a heavy bottom pan, roast inions for 2 minutes till they are pink.
    • Then add the chilli and Kantola, mix well.
    • Cover and cook for 2 mins.
    • Add water and cover and for 5-7 mins (depends on how tender the Kantola is)
    • After the Kantola is cooked, add haldi, salt and give a good mix.
    • Add in coconut and peanuts, mix well.
    • Switch off the flame and add lime juice.
    • Top with coriander.
