I run 6 of the Toro Fierce6's on a CAB22 for more than a year now. They are solid little subs.
I love seeing the little guys get some attention more and more these days.

@@ATCA not really. I'm still in the designing phases. so just looking to save space at this point.
@@BudgetBassHead also in the designing stage...started designing for 2. then I start adding more and more 6.5s scared I won't be happy.
Please Please Please make a SQ comparison between them all at the end.
By SQ comparison I mean how well they play acoustic bass sounds; bass guitar, drums, cello, bass, baritone sax, etc.
I’m weighing buying another pair of the SA6.5’s vs the Strato’s or Meso’s. Not looking for the biggest bang, just the best most natural sounding sonic signature.

My Rockville 6.5 K9 subs have been under my truck seat for over a year and a half running off a 1000 watt Skar mono amp. No issues whatsoever.

Holy shit those sundown pound hard. AF!!!! Put them in your door insulate the door with some window and door flashing tape from your local hardware store. Turn that car into a club on wheels. 👍👍👍👍👍
I have one 15 inch kicker cvr in a slot port box, car is 2006 impala, no seat let down. Would 2 sundown sa 6.5s even compare? Im interested
Awesome video, I been thinking about going with 4 of the dd1506s sc but seen sundown is supposed to be coming out with the new x6.5v3 which will be one to look at as well. I know the 1506s are the truth 💯🔊💨💨

I’m dropping about 1900-2000 wts on it all day… beautiful beast if a sub
I had (2) of the previous version Meso 6.5’s and they were amazing. Then went to (3) Skar EVL 6.5’s and SPL wise the Skar were 1.5db’s higher but in SQ - I would have to say the Meso’s definitely take it. Wish I had (3) or (4) Meso and get rid of my (3) Sundown E10v4’s. :)

Funny story while I’m watching the bass test portion video I just lit a candle and I started smelling fumes and In my head I’m starting to look for a volume button to turn down

Any opinion on the sound Qubed 6.5s? I’m think 4 under a crew can seat should get me close to the equivalent of 2 10s
Would those 2 6.5's be louder than 1 8in? Both being meso line on rated power

Are these subs for hard hitting bass for a lack of space,or for a balanced sound?
I'd say balance. they add a good back tone. The CT Meso is definitely where it's at for big bass small space

Why is it anytime I model a sub enclosure using Winisd I get port lengths that are crazy long....unless the port area is way to small ?
I just never get doable numbers with ported enclosures in that sofware .
Back in the day we sat down with formulas and calculators and figured it out by hand .

The biggest thing is enclosure volume. Regardless of the woofer, smaller volumes will require longer ports for a given area
