Welcome to my channel! I'm reacting to the "best" albums that publications are listing on their Year End Lists for 2023, this time it's from a comment recommending yeule's experimental take on 2023 shoegaze with their album softscars! Don't be fooled by the girly album cover, the album gets dark, and goes HARD.
Let me know if you have any other albums you think I should check out, there are more coming soon.. and maybe a better camera soon too!
ALSO Please let me know if you have any constructive criticism.. obviously I'm new at this and could use some pointers! Thanks for stopping by!

I love the subject of trauma and mental health throughout the album
Another álbum from 2023 with the same subject was All of this Will end by Indigo de Souza
Yes same! And the closing track becomes an incredible triumph after a full album of abuse.. really powerful.
I've never listened to Indigo de Souza but I've always loved the album covers haha.. I'll definitely check them out!
Nice profile pic btw, love duster
There's lots of intimate moments where yeule's shell strips away in albums and it feels like you are in too deep, in their personal space. Trust me you aren't reading too deep into it. Your insight and commentary is so amazing, of all the musical elements and your interpretation of the psychology of the songs! Some extra stuff you said made me appreciate and see in a new light too in some songs, especially software update which wasn't exactly one of my faves in the album.
It was a super unique listening experience, being in too deep is a good way of explaining it!
I'm glad you enjoyed, let me know if there are any albums you'd like me to check out!
You should definitely react to more of Yeule, either that, or Yves tumor
Yves Tumor is definitely on my list!! Safe in the Hands of Love was one of my favorite records from 2018, Yves is one of the few that can make me dance to the sound of people screaming in terror haha
@@W-AMCFM Well if you like Yves tumor you should definitely check out ZZZahara, they do a lot of house rock/synth pop, especially two of their recent albums such as Tender and liminal spaces
i loved ur reactions to the songs, especially when x w x dazies and softscars came up 😭🙏 my favs from the album, they went so hard that my first time listening reaction was just sitting there with my mouth dropped LMAOOO
ur so funny lmaooo i loved ur react and new subb, this album is amazing i was just like u when i discovered this album
thanks so much!! If you like this you should check out the stream, we're listening to Jane Remover right now and it's tighttt
Really good bro
Never thought i would hear DJ Sabrina mentioned in a yeule reaction video!!! 2 of my favorites of this year! Love your vibe and editing dude, earned a new sub!
Cyber Meat is absolutely one of the best songs of the year. Saw yeule live earlier this year and she kicked ASS!
I hope the comparison made sense in context! Thanks so much for the kind words, and thank you for subscribing!! More coming soon
Awesome reaction and commentary, you should react to south koreak shoegaze artist “Parannoul” after the magic or to see the next part of a dream
I love parannoul! I might need to check out after the magic again...
yeule is my all time favorite artist. LOVE your reaction
Wow, thank you!! Glad to hear i didn't disappoint the yeule fans 😀
I still have this album on heavy repeat, aphex twin flame goes hard every time
Great reaction! You should check out Japanese bands called Mass of the Fermenting Dregs (post-hardcore/shoegaze) and Hitsujibungaku (rock). They two of my favorite bands from Japan.
oh yeah i love Mass of the Fermenting Dregs! Have you listened to Number Girl?
You should come by stream sometime and request some japanese bands!
u need to check out Jazmin Bean's (they/them) Traumatic Livelihood album! it has like an early 2000's pop rock vibe with some pretty heavy lyrical topics, it's a beautiful album
I'll add it to the list, this sounds right down my alley! Thanks!!
@@W-AMCFM amazing!! love ur videos btw
Not u having good taste and being good looking
Not u being my favorite comment ❤️
