      @@se7en52 I mean my school is literally rated as one of the best nursing schools in California. They are adding pharmacology. Unfortunately, I will have graduated by then.

      you don't necessarily need a pharm class to learn drugs. you should be learning this in conjunction with material in your class already. its up to you to do the studying.

    The nurse notes third-degree heart block on the EKG of a client receiving diltiazem (Cardizem) for treatment of a supraventricular dysrhythmia. The appropriate action by the nurse is to:
    Administer the next dose as prescribed, and monitor the EKG.
    **Hold the next dose, document the EKG finding, and notify the physician.
    Treat the heart block, and continue the Cardizem.
    Increase IV fluids, and administer half the dose of Cardizem.

      Kate Ch exams & the Nclex don’t get that specific :) so in the question, if there is a big drop like over 20 or 30 points, then it’s priority

    It is too much details and it understands only by experts
