I watched several of the videos on Simple Nursing’s RUclips channel to help me study for the NCLEX-RN & I’m so glad I did!! I took my NCLEX yesterday 7/25 and got all 130 questions 🥴 I had several questions about medications, especially these mentioned in this video. Although every exam is different for everyone, whenever nurse Mike tells you an NCLEX TIP, engrave that in your mind because it will show up! I won’t know if I passed just yet, but I wanted to thank Nurse Mike for helping me study for my NCLEX and simplifying pharmacology and medical diseases and disorders!

Pass my NCLEX about a week ago. Thank you for making this videos although I didn’t get any question about this drugs I still enjoyed relearning these things. I had a lot of peds/obgyn and delegation question, I was fortunate coz I didn’t really review those modules.

This was so simply and easy to understand of all the BP videos ive come across so far. Thank you soo much. I understand now why i was given the meds im taking.
Took a short 10 question practice run on Uworld for cardiac meds, and 4/10 questions I could have gotten right if I saw this video right before!! (especially, the last part about "hypokalemia not affected by slow administration." Freaked me out a little bit LOL. Great, easy to understand information. Thank you so much!

Most professors don't want to simply "teach for the exam" so you are going to typically get way more info than you need, and they won't want to narrow it for you. He is teaching specific "need to know" info for the NCLEX.

Absolutely awesome video. For the beta blockers, would you know why we'd use a non-cardioselective beta blocker over a cardioselective if you don't mind me asking? I'm trying to think of what blocking beta 2 receptors and constricting the airways might be good for, given we want to lower blood pressure.
