I had the Bucky O'Hare's casette, and I remember, I never knew finished until long time the game, because my game is glitched on the Blue Planet stage. Later I finished that stage on compiuter, after I memorized the stage code. I remember this code until nowadays, MPT!3...After when I skipped the Blue Planet stage, I beated the whole game. I never was happier in my life before I finished one of my favorite games. I am really happy and I am really proud 2 thing in my "NES career" . 1. I finished Bucky O'Hare 2. I reach the last level in the classic NES Battletoads. And...I am still remember from 8 years old until to 23 years old the MPT!3 code :)
HAHA I have actually also done this. I had an chines pirate copy. (In SA all Nintendo systems and games were these Famicom ripoffs) But on this version one hit from any enemy would kill instantly. I remember jamming that copy and getting so pissed off I actually gave my self an nose bleed...years later i got an real copy and was super surprised to discover that the health bar actually works..man i tortured my self so badly over this game.
This is one of my main childhood games! Beside Zelda megaman Mario and Contra but this game takes it all! The only thing that disappointed me about the game is that how rare it is. I have 2 copies 1 doesn't work but the other I paid $120 for.
The most difficult boss out of all when I played this game as a kid was the salvage chute boss. That is, not until I realized that it can easily be disposed of within 10 seconds by using Jenny's fully charged energy ball.
The Bosses in these game are your Rewards for finishing its Nightmare of Level Design, You need to memorize the whole map to proceed . Then you can relax with the bosses except for that aligator one. 😂😂😂
There was also a Short lived Cartoon show of Bucky O Hare too Shadowserg! I did watch a little bit of it & I do remember playing this game! THIS GAME WAS FUCKIN HARD!! I didn't even have Game Genie codes for this game when it came out! The bosses gave me grief & I could not even beat The Toad Ship & never faced The Air Marshall & Beat the game either!
Konami used to make some truly memorable games. I remember renting this and spending the whole weekend on it.
Me too. Ironically I don't remember any of these bosses so thst must mean I sucked so bad at the game that I never made ot to one lol
I love how you acknowledge the unsung heroes of the nes and sega instead of games people already know about. Never stop it!
oh yeah and snes too.
Impressive as always. This takes time and dedication.
It would be nice if Fox McCloud and Bucky O'Hare ever teamed up to get rid of slippy. 😊
Lady snake84 Slippy was a spy working for the Toad Empire all along
Had such a hard time with Magma Core, back when I was a kid. Was so happy when I beat it.
I've been waiting for this to happen, thanks!
You are welcome! ;)

Am I the only one hearing Warturtle?
There's a certain pattern to fighting these bosses . And once you figure it out it becomes a whole lot easier . And also take your time .
Wow, this actually looks pretty fun! I wanna try!
Konami made great tales for NES and this is one of their hidden gems, it's the contra for little kids.
I think it's tougher than Contra
This is harder than contra. it gave me the frustration that Contra never gavr me . 😂😂 The only positivr is the Unlimited continue
The music in this game is so fucking good.
Back when I was younger, I used to think that those grenades that Toad Air Marshal was throwing were explosive sets of false teeth. ^_^;
カエルみたいな戦車の口からビームがファミコンレベルとは思えない長さでビックリします!
My top 5 5.... Countra, 4, megaman 2, Ninja gaiden 2, 3, legend of Zelda 2..... Number 1 Bucky O'Hair
The Toad ship is very simillar to the Mothership boss from Rocket Knight Adventures.
Another excellent (and hard) games on the NES.
You don’t know true pain and suffering till you’ve defeated all of these bosses.
Bkuccy O'Hare looks like a good game.
Managed to beat it when I was a teen. It was a Japanese version so had no idea what was going on. Great games and memories though :)
Nice work.
Games based on this show always seem to nerf Toadborg so much.
Very nicely done this is a hard game. Still one of favorite 2d action platformers.
13:25 hardest part

I swear to god I could never kill Al Negator without Willy no matter how hard I mashed the buttons. Good show.

I used to be creeped out when you had to fight against Jenny, Willie, and Dead-Eye when they're turned into zombies by the Air Marshall.
Is Bucky O’Hare announced in PALCOMIX ?

Wanna try the arcade game next? :D

Plus, it had a hardcore one hit kill mode. Hard as hell, specially the iceberg part.
Edwin Galeana agreed
13:20 that part was NOT fuckin easy. I had to try so hard to fuckin make it past that part
MRX6X Final Stage code in my memory :)
