Man,you mentioned the Seaside arcade.....that brings back memories.....I used to go out to seaside as a kid and get given 5 dollars to play games...god I loved that arcade it was like the most exciting thing for me all year.

I think It's obvious that they are going to attempt something big early in the off-season. If they intend to compete, the earlier they start, the better. IMO, they played last OS perfectly. They missed Ohtani and didn't panic sign everyone like SF did. Instead they seem to have taken their foot off the pedal and hoped for the best in order to stay well positioned to run at another superstar - setting us up for perhaps another decade. They perfectly recycled everything from last off-season into useful pieces that put us into a decent position to acquire impact piece(s) through trade. I'm not sure how successful they will be with a big splash (trade and/or FA) , that's why I also think by mid January, you may see a switch in the plan to more defined rebuild if they miss their preferred targets early. After a decade if listening to these guys, I think that could be the message behind the vague comments about competing...
