The first time I played FF15 and the game opens with the ending, I initially didn't even notice him sitting there. He was just so big and sitting so still that I didn't process it as a person (or whatever) until he waved his arm. Shit was so fucking cool!
I absolutely miss these cinematic, dramatic, epic summons. I do agree that we should choose when to summon as we wish and fight alongside them, but I also hope that the ending can be as good as these!! Not afraid to take the time to give us a show!

I only got Garuda and both Ramuh all the time (Ramuh 1 when outside and Ramuh 2 when inside a dungeon or cave), never got Shiva, Titan or Leviathan, and obviously excluding the scripted ones.

That was the plan but people kept shiting on the game making it a pr nightmare and sales to go down. I get the idea it was incomplete but the hate it was too much. Now it stays in our imagination and the novel book the rest of the game.

The summons Animation were all so epic and amazing But the the summoning of the bestia was so stupidly regulated that it is completely pointless again. Really i think in the whole game I summoned just one time Ramuh. Shiva and Bahamut are summoned automatically in the end of the game anyway This summons where even more needless than in FF13
that depend the way you are playing. if you fight strong monster (compare to you) there a good chance they will appear. they save my ass on some tough challenge

Lorewise he has the power to do so but he basically just says "fuck it I helped, can't say I didnt" Honestly I think its sad that Bahamut is probably the most popular summon in FF franchise and this is arguably his coolest iteration yet and this is what they do with that. Literally Ifrit just parkours away from all of the swords anyway so while it looked cool it didn't do much of anything.
Well if we go by the Dawn of the Future novel, Bahamut isn't the same kind of Astral as the others which is why he looks so different from what he normally does in the FF series.

I personally enjoyed FFXV very much. It's a perfect combination of these over the top dramatic scenes and the friendly banter between the four main bros. I get where people come from when they make fun of their kpop-like looks, but I thought their friendship was really sweet.

I think my game is bugged becasue for the whole game i rarely had sitations where i could use summons and i actually ever used them becasue i thought its brooken and they dont work( in fact u have to hold the button). Now wwhenever anyone on my team is down therss just a summon avaiable and i can skip all the battles in the game this way. I dont undertand why in a gamne where u get no penalty for healing nonm stop, there wouldd even be an option to just skip entire battles for free
My game must have been glitched or something because Titan never appeared during my whole playthrough and I never saw these different versions with the other summons.
That's the same summon animation that I show as Ramuh (2/2) the only difference is that summon animation appeared for me during the adamantoise fight. It's well known that Ramuh gives that animation in dungeons but I think I was the first person to show that it can also happen during the adamantoise battle too

Only when Noctis falls. Carbuncle will automatically appear and revive only Noctis. If I remember correctly, it only works when playing on Easy difficulty.

Apparently he's blind too, which is why when he's sitting down he only attacks once you get close

Bahamut should be a dragon like in all the other games. Less epic as a humanoid. Bahamut Zero summon from 7 is still the best I think.
