You can tell just how much more powerful Noctis has gotten post time skip by the Shiva summon animation. If you sommon her pre time skip Noct is all hunched over and shivering, but post time skip he doesn't even flinch. Our boy has grown up, and even the chill wind of death can't touch him
For those who don’t know the summon depends on the area if it’s a wet area leviathan is summon if u do the secret mission u can as well summon Garuda the forgotten goddess of storm anddd titan and rumah can be summoned anywhere but titan can’t be summon inside tunnels or dungeons like rumah anddd bahamut can only be summoned once when u fight ifrit, speaking of ifrit god of flames he can’t be summoned becuz he betrayed the gods and the kings and shiva be summoned anywhere but rarely mostly In narrowed areas

@@TheDomander I honestly didn't mind that Bahamut appeared in the form of a knight. The astrals are different throughout the worlds, even though many share the same names. To each his own though. If you grew up with Bahamut always being a dragon, I can't fault you for being disappointed. I think they made him a knight to push the fact that he is meant to be a God of War, which was supposed to be a major plot element in the Dawn of the Future DLC but it got scrapped so it got wasted.

The feeling when in about 70% of summons you had lightning granpa, in 15% Shiva and in the remaining 15% Leviathan. Funny thing is, though I love the game and explored almost everything there, I found out about Garuda only from this video.
@@VGamesSiders For me it was about 70% ramoth, 15% garuda, 10% shiva, 5% titan, 5% leviathan Although I unlocked garuda fairly late and when in only look at the play time after I unlocked her it was about 50% ramoth, 35% garuda, 5% shiva, 5% leviathan, 5% titan. So garuda replaced a lot of ramoth summons and sadly most shiva summons

A lot of people complain about not being about to summon in this one. It depends if you get downed and revied I noticed. Basically it's a handicap for players who a too low level or bad at the game. If you have not seen many summons then you are just good. They look amazing and the cinematic story moments are breathtaking to look at, not being able to summon them unless you are about to die just adds to their feeling of power. It is also easy to summon them, just get downed twice in a row in a short time. Worked twice in a row for me.
I didn't play XV, i know that these summons have been criticized for their mechanic, but let me say, these are the most beautiful, stunning, mighty summons i've ever seen.
Yeah you've got it right on the money. The only problem is that I, like most people, saw the same one again and again. It was Ramuh every single time I did it. Then I stopped doing it because you don't get experience if you defeat enemies with them, since they are an immediate win button. So I never did it again. They made a million awesome nuke animations and nobody sees them lol.

Final fantasy xv summons are helpful they help you defeated the story enemies and they really match the battle place like you are fighting baddies in the middle of a field then you summon a hydra, how cool is that

Enough time has passed, a remake of FF7 has been released, even on pc. After what I saw in 15, these "pets" from remake do not even come close in terms of cinematics and staging (and music to). These summons will always be the best for me. As an old fan of the classics, many thanks to the FF 15 development team for this. *Okay, summons FF7R are normal, let's see what they do in part 2 :)
Cinematic attacks on this scale didn't properly come until 10 and 12. 7-9 was mostly just earlier games with added cinematics, like a middle step . And be lucky you got summons in part 1, because in the original theres none in midgar or that section of the game, first one is at the farm after you leave. (Actually back then they were extra dickish for 7, nearly every summon was hard to find, titan was invisible due to a coding bug and nearly all of them, even rahuma and ifrit, are in permanently missable locations that don't appear again. ) I don't play 15, but i will say the summons are amazing!
I agree I frigging loved the open world summons in this game. FF VII summons were small as fuck will see how they do Bahamut zero or knights of the round on the next remakes.

Yeah the FFXV summoning system is actually very well made and executed. But for me nothing beats FF type-0's eidolon system. Almost every FF deity ever freaking playable with its own moveset

the XV summons were more integral to the story this time so the focus was more on each astral as an individual that cannot be controlled which works sometimes, they're visually much better than FF12 naturally but yeah a lot of people won't appreciate that
Cameron Ezzard Without Ifrit, you can't summon him (except DLC Episode Ardyn). Also Bahamut only appears in the fight against Ifrit. You can't summon him in other fights.
You can see how much they cut corners on the Barrier scene because leviathan is gone ,not piling damage on the barrier when titan rolls around..and then titan is gone when bahamut arrives.would make sense if they atlesst faded after attacking.
Such a weird sensation when you should know all of this because you payed and played it to 100% completion, but you don't remember any of dlc stuff clearly anyways.
Because it's not even explain properly. The game just simply let u know. In dire situation, they can come for help. Like that of sort. So it's up to player and the community to solve the hidden gem in this game. By far I love it. I dunno why I throw this game years ago. Probably it struck me, because the story lack development. But the grinding, hunting, dungeon clearing is awfully annoying and satisfying afterwards. To bad it wasn't a good in the storyline.

Certain conditions must be met for each summon. If you've plaued through twice, then you must never really meet the conditions. Which is not a bad thing, since that might also mean you're just good enough to not ever meet the dire situations required to get them.

It happened finally!!! About 3 weeks ago I had Titan as a summon....I can die happy now
I'm actually surprised that there's a summon named 'Garuda' in Final Fantasy. I'm Indonesian and Garuda is our national Patriotic symbol. 'Garuda' means Eagle. It's great to see :)

I like Shiva summon. But there is a problem. There is a time when I fought dread bahamut. And rng wise and I know I'm gonna get Shiva as summon. She heals the beast rather damaging it huhuhuhu.

I don’t know I just feel this games summon is a bit blind. I still miss ff7 where I can control when to summon and just sit back and watch a good looking animated mini movie.
12 has the best summons. Controllable and awesome cutscenes.
the XV summons were more integral to the story this time
so the focus was more on each astral as an individual that cannot be controlled
which works sometimes, they're visually much better than FF12 naturally but yeah a lot of people won't appreciate that

The last part of Ifrit's fight theme gives me fucking chills so it makes sense that Shiva's the summon there

Cameron Ezzard Without Ifrit, you can't summon him (except DLC Episode Ardyn). Also Bahamut only appears in the fight against Ifrit. You can't summon him in other fights.
I wonder if the citizens are okay with those havocs and chaos going on out there
You can see how much they cut corners on the Barrier scene because leviathan is gone ,not piling damage on the barrier when titan rolls around..and then titan is gone when bahamut arrives.would make sense if they atlesst faded after attacking.

Such a weird sensation when you should know all of this because you payed and played it to 100% completion, but you don't remember any of dlc stuff clearly anyways.
Because it's not even explain properly. The game just simply let u know. In dire situation, they can come for help. Like that of sort. So it's up to player and the community to solve the hidden gem in this game. By far I love it. I dunno why I throw this game years ago. Probably it struck me, because the story lack development. But the grinding, hunting, dungeon clearing is awfully annoying and satisfying afterwards. To bad it wasn't a good in the storyline.

Certain conditions must be met for each summon. If you've plaued through twice, then you must never really meet the conditions. Which is not a bad thing, since that might also mean you're just good enough to not ever meet the dire situations required to get them.

These summons were epic in scope but the final attack has no OMPH when it comes to the dungeon Ramuh, Shiva and leviathen's.
