I think it’s also the sound design and score here, too.. the backgrounds have almost a ‘liminal’ negative space quality to them in addition to the serenity of the color palette, so it really forces you to zone in on what Mark’s saying and feeling. The backgrounds and music coincide very neutrally and calmly, without trying to magnify the character’s emotions and instead just letting it be. Damn that f you was personal
Nolan should've pulled out the ukulele, that would win Mark over.
"i made a mistake" just a little oopsie!! such a silly accident!

How can he possible do a hug to this man who almost killed and painted his suit full with blood killed thousands of poeple and broke like 10 of his teeth 🦷 and while he was killing him saying u want to died for this planet fine I can start over everytime with a new kid seriously all his teeth was flying impossible he can give a hug to this man
Omniman:I MADE A MISTAKE!
Invincible:YOU LITERALLY FED ME A SUBWAY WORTH MULTIPLE LIFETIMES IN THE WORST WAY POSSIBLE
I don't know how to feel about the way you chose to say that... But its noteworthy so have a free comment.
Omni-man: look I made a mistake.
Me: So did I. Looking up to you. But you made more than just one.
Oh, so that's how his mask works.
He shouldn’t have helped him. Doesn’t deserve it at ALL. But Mark is better than his horrible father
I haven't seen the 2nd season...but wtf is up with this hug? Maybe it's because I'm a grudge holder, but I would never hug the murderous father who called my mom a pet and almost beat me into a coma....but again that's just me....
Damn that VA goes hard
Corinthian 15 verse 57
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
they need to quite changing scenes... the Comics did EVERYTHING right.. Mark didn't almost lunge at his father first.. he hugged his father unexpectedly to his father's surprise while his Father was ready to fight again fist clenched for combat. let alone how they put Thula in the fight after this scene for no reason whatsoever.. Thula is one of the ones in the comics that helped Nolan when they discovered Thragg had been hiding the fact that he knew Nolan was the true biological leader of the Viltrumites... this entire change of who fought in this part is really fucking stupid.. it's just some reject producer demanding they put a chick in it.. and make her gay.
Mark better than me. Id have left that planet to die with him on it
As someone who had a father who WAS with him and all the stuff, and then went away because of "problems" to say something😅....... I wouldnt forgive omniman BUT at last he is TRYING
Nolan: I made a mistake.
Me: Playa you called your wife a pet, and told Your Son he was expendable after force feeding him a train filled with random civilians. You fucked up big time.
Invincible gyatt.
“Mmm it’s giving Gen Alpha vibes “
Gotta say this was a hit in the gut
“A” mistake is crazy
Like father Like son.
For some reason, the pastel colors and arcitecture of the scene makes Mark's reactions have a powerful weight for me. Anyone got a possible explination?
I’m not sure what it is, exactly, but it kind of puts you on edge. I thought it was just me, lol.
I guess we’re so used to other more gritty settings and moods from the show that this one in particular almost feels more resonative and heavy. Like a personification of Mark’s grief maybe.
@@depechemode0220 I noticed that “liminal space” vibe, too. It’s like a bizarre vaporwave planet, lol.
