I haven't watched the show yet, but it's refreshing for a council like this to actually listen lol. I feel like there's always heavy resistance to an obvious potential solution and it's become a trope in sci-fi.
A big issue I have is if this council of aliens are trying to destroy the viltrimites, and the viltrimites know this and know where they are; how do they continue to exist? Apparently Allen is the strongest warrior they have and he even says he’s no match for them. So why don’t the viltrimites kill everyone on this committee? Wouldn’t even take 5 minutes to eliminate the only real opposition presented so far in the series.
Technically the council does have a few ways of killing viltrumites but even still theirs no certainty they would win. As of the show their should only be about 50 viltrumites actually alive. Where as the coalition has way way more people and certain technology can kill viltrumites such as the scourge virus that reduced their population to about 50. The survivors being those mostly immune to that variant of the virus. As for Allen being the strongest he's actually probably only around top 5 for strongest at this time however his species are like saiyans so he does become way stronger. Thaedus is a viltrumite himself so he's probably stronger than Allen at start of show.
War is simply attrition over years, the coalition have more supplies, more species and more ‘secret’ ammunition. I won’t spoil it for you but I can tell you that there’s a reason why the Viltramites are treading lightly.
Why destroy the coalition when it’s uniting all of their enemies? To the vultrimites, nothing can stop them! It Sure would be a lot easier to take over all the galaxy at once rather then one planet at a time. From what I can tell, the coalition is like a bank collecting interest. The vultrimates are waiting for it to outlive its usefulness

What i don't get is how the coalition didn't know right away that thaedus was a Viltrumite, i mean how many other species are there that resemble viltrumites? And they likely don't know what a Human is because it's not even mentioned by Allen that mark was Half human too
I’d imagine fairly a lot of species look like humans and viltrumites because when Allen got to earth he didn’t assume that it’s a planet full of viltrumites nor assume mark or nolan was one until he was told.
In the series ,if you watched it. In the second season it's explained that Viltumites can only breed with similar looking species it's like a law or something for them. That's why one of the Viltumites was disgusted when Nolan had a son with those bug looking aliens. That means that there are possibly more human like species that exist since Nolan has lived for at least over 100 years.
In the comic’s he takes his beard off all dramatically and reveals he has a viltrumite mustache and it’s implied his beard is some kind of camouflage, I can’t make this shit up I swear to god

I am actually happy with this spoiler, I was so sad to see the clip of Allen dying and I really wanted more of him! I’m so glad too that Thaedus isn’t a straight up betrayer too cuz the dude was awesome. I really aught to watch season two instead of clips of it.

Usually the voice direction in this show is great but it really sounds like they just told Peter Cullen to just do Optimus Prime, which is a shame since he's got so much more range than that, and I would've like to hear him do something unique with Thaedus.
