"I put snow in the shadows like it hasn't melted yet" Absolutely amazing. I'm dumbfounded. How are you this good. It's almost like that common sense kind of stuff we take for granted in real life but makes the exhibits look so much more real because of it.
You don't need to beat yourself up over the career mode. Like you said in a previous episode, it is designed to teach you about the game. You were just trying to be more creative than the scenario was intended to be. This is a gorgeous habitat. Your eye for detail is excellent. Keep it up!
I love doing the career before the challenge and the sandbox! so peeps if you want something extra.. Btw Geek just enjoy what you like to do and keep them videos coming becouse i realy enjoy them!
Having snow on the shadows is such a great idea. It makes it look very natural. I can see in the comments that I'm not the only one, but I really enjoy your career mode videos ;)
Hi, I know you didn't mean anything by it but Kashmir is not a northern region of India. Kashmir is currently fighting for their lives for independence while India is committing many human rights atrocities in the region including cutting off their access to internet and detaining, torturing, and killing innocent citizens. Stand with Kashmir is a good organization to look up if you want to learn more. Loved the build, though. I'm constantly learning tips and tricks from your builds that I use in my own game.
I'm well aware of the troubles Kashmir is facing, I didn't want to bring them up in a video about a zoo game though. But apologies, I had meant to say that Kashmir is a region of the Indian Subcontinent, not of India :)
It’s nice people are finally using our actual Indian culture and not sandstone pieces cause those are found in the buildings in the west. Stupas are actually found in the north . Southern India has stone buildings and eastern India has some of everything.I am from eastern India and I really love the stupa 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for being so frequently present in my subscription feed. I laughed out loud at your Grizzly Bear video and at times, your videos are what I really need to give myself some peace of mind.
Superb build. The habitat looks fantastic. It shows what you can do with good terraforming, rock work and very little foliage. A very impressive and understated area for the Snow Leopard. I love what you did with the barriers around the path, using the lanterns as toppers is a fun idea and looked great in the brief night shot. As for the main structure, love it. Yes it's big but it's a clean structure, well detailed and fits the theme nicely. Definitely one of your best builds overall and now a favourite of mine 👍 I learn a lot from watching you build and the commentary you provide, it's inspiring. Thanks Jonti 👍👍
the habitat looks great! I could definitely see you reshaping it for another park and I wouldn't be mad about it. hopefully you find a great balance between creative freedom and making enough videos for youtube demand
One of the things I have to be familiar with for my university degree is Buddhism, so hearing you talk about stupas took me by surprise! Great work, as always!
I love the amount of research and honesty in your videos. Well done. Please keep it up with these videos. I downloaded planet zoo, but unfortunately my computer cant keep up with it very well. I'll get a new one eventually. In the mean time, I am thoroughly enjoying these videos. Good luck to you.
Amazing build. Love the 'Stupa' style architecture you used inspired by Buddhist architecture( Buddhism started in India). Waiting for your Franchise build videos/Livestream
Looks great, really impressive work! If you want a bit of constructive criticism in relation to realism, I would say that a snow leopard would be able to jump out of that enclosure, and that really good looking rock work, does kinda make a stairway in some areas. Snow leopards can jump 6 meters vertically after all.
Yeah! Totally, most real habitats hace some sort of hot wire or similar at the top of the habitats... I have'nt found anything in the game suitable to create it, so for now if the game is happy, I'm happy :)
Absolutely gorgeous work, Jonti! I can tell you're putting a lot more love and thought into your recent builds now that you've had time to get used to the game and it's pieces; you're making some really gorgeous stuff! I'm totally stealing that rustic branch roofing :P
I always enjoy your episodes, I find them a great way to relax, learn more about the game and also inspire me to try things out for myself (not brilliantly I might add!) Just upload what you enjoy and we will love it :)
I enjoy every video, even the career mode! Yes it wasn't as detailed and spectacular as these speed builds.. But I just enjoy watching you play this game 🥰
My first time seeing the game and i think someone could make F*CKING FANTASY MAPS with the amount of customization options and freedom this game gives you. My god!
Sorry if it's been mentioned, but you can put down barrier pieces without actually setting it as a boundary. In the barrier settings there's a box that says "set as habitat border" or something like that and you just untick it. So you can pretty much have one barrier on the inside that doesn't count as a border, and a null barrier on the outside that boxes in the entire habitat including buildings and roads etc.
1- I really enjoyed the video 2- Is there a schedule for Nina Kanata videos 3- You need too look at Gondwanaland at the Leipzig zoo in Germany, it is the world's largest rainforest house
Hey there, not sure if this has been asked before - but I'm struggling to follow how you're manipulating geometry so effortlessly and I put it down to me not yet mastering the hotkeys. Is there a way you can have the keyboard presses as an overlay - we'd be able to watch it on slow-mo and I feel it would really help people like me who have never played Planet Coaster and got to grips with the enormous number of shortcuts the game provides. Keep up the great vids, you combine great on-screen content with chill commentary.
Hey dude, Ive been watching your videos for a fra days now. I love Them. I also wanted to let you know that one of my favourite youtubers -lilsimsie mentioned you in her video, so if you get a lot of unexpected trafic, it could either be to your major talent, the awesome game or this huge shoutout 😅
Geekism yes! It was the one she posted yesterday it’s around 12 minutes 10 seconds. If you go to her channel it should be the second video from the top. Something with fixing a weird lot. 😍 and thank you for welcoming me!
I'm not a fan of the Stupor build and quite liked the original? I feel it blended a lot better with the colourscheme of the habitat. But gosh dang! That Habitat is something quite simple and still full really full looking! I absolutely love it.
The stark contrast of the brilliant white coral of the Stupa against it's surroundings is a key part of it's design. But it's cool, can't win them all! Hope you enjoy the next one :)
Click the radar looking button in the bottom left, then select 'habitat' at the top, then select an animal, You can have it show traversable area or shelter cover :)
probably a dumb question but the construction pieces, are those just automatically unclimbable/unbreakable? Some animals have like a level 5 barrier requirement but do the construction pieces meet that? 😪
Geekism ooo interesting! i’ve been too scared to use them but it looks like i’ll just have to play around with them 🤔 guess i have no excuse for straight brick barrier habitats anymore 😭😂
I have a Question about the barriers and the fact that you usually put rocks and other non-fence items to keep the animals in. How does that work? You mention that the workers clip through the buildings create sometimes, like fake gates and the such, so why and how do the animals not clip through the rocks and other fake barriers and escape your habitat? (I will buy the game soon, i just can't right now to my great dismay)
Simply, Animals pathing AI and peoples is different. Animals will acknowlegde scenery items and move accordingly, staff/guest on paths wont. The only difference is when keepers enter a habitat, they will take on AI similar to animals and walk over rocks/terrain etc
@@Geekism lol,,,I had just watched a build by silverret before watching yours and he said at the beginning hey you! then I see you building an Asian building giving such details of the architectural history...as he does...so I said ahan! you've been hanging around silverret XD lol

After 80 hours in the game I feel as though I'm done with the game. It feels liek you just do the same thing over and over with a new habitat. There isnt enough depth to anything else. I guess 80 hours is a good amount but was hoping for more.
@@Geekism I just feel like you build a habitat, then you do the same thing with another animal. And besides the animals it's really just expand with buildings and use the pieces to make "fake buildings". The management aspect doesnt feel deep enough where it feels refreshing.
@@Geekism Absolutetly. This is something I sorta feared about the game as it basically relied on creativity to continue enjoying the game. And 80 hours for 50€ isnt bad. Longer than most story based games.
