Another great how to Rocco. Had a guy explain when you take the battery that's a negative, and when you replace a battery its a positive. So, disconnect negative first when removing, and connect positive first when replacing. You can't go wrong.

Good simple explanation on testing/changing your battery. If I get 4 years out of my Bike or Truck battery I'm happy.
Tech tip: I installed a long flat strap around my battery, so I have the two ends to hold while I lift the battery out, or ease the battery in place.
I lay the strap over and leave it there, no need to remove it.

Hey Rocco want to say again thanks for all the help and replying to my questions well i told you everything i did to it so today i got the old carburetor back out it is a original harley carburetor went through it with a fine tooth comb ended up finding a broken small o ring and loose washer i put everything stock back in it and ended up with a forty five pilot and one seventy main i do know that putting that pickup module in helped a lot too but after replacing the o ring and washer and another cleaning she runs like-new except the battery seems to be about dead now maybe cause been sitting awhile while i worked on it but wanted to say thanks again. I always worked on my own cars but not bikes so your videos helped me a lot that one little o ring and washer did the trick i figure it was getting way to much air with that o ring busted it was the one on the end of the tube you know which one i am sure thanks again for all

I love your channel. It helped me feel comfortable with doing a few things on my vtx1300. Can i please recommend/ask you produce a video on tires. Specifically on making the judgement call of changinging the tires, not only for ware but for age. I believe theres a way to tell the production date on the sidewall. My bike is gone now, and i was lucky with only a cast on my arm, but the doctors etc were very surprised i git out of it so well off. The pop sound sounded similar to when my '98 triumph trophy engine blew, but it was much worse, ive never rode a bull but it must have been something like what i experienced but travelling around 90km/hr, slowed down from 115

Nice job but my 2014 King is just a little different not by much just the controller panel sits on top of my battery other then setting it to the side it’s just like the older bikes when u look at the battery how it sits I install Harley batteries in my bike and I get six years of life out of mine I change my battery in 2014 in 2020 but I will be honest I got a little lazy on taking care of my second battery I think I am only going to get 5 years maybe it could be some extras I have added. One thing you are a 100% right the King is something else I love my King all my buddies say u look so relaxed on that bike, take care and ride alert and safe

When you buy a new bike, that's always one of the first things Battery and then Tires nobody sells a perfect bike, get a battery and you will be happy. Buy a good battery. I recommend going to Harly Davidson and getting one of there's. Today batteries are a big issue. They go bad quick. Hey Rocco, your videos are super helpful! I do have a question tho. So i have a 2003 883 Sportster and since ive had it, it fire up good idles nice but if i twist the throttle quick i hear a sucking kind of noise from the intake or carb and the bike idles way down almost to a stall. I have to ease into the throttle to avoid this, and once im going its ok, kinda gut less after 60 mph tho as well. It has a SE slip ons and a k&n high flow air filter. It also has a 170 main and a 45 pilot in it and the idle screw is 2 full turns out currently. Any help would be awesome thanks!.

Did you forget the rubber under the attachment of the battery ? or did YOU intentionally not use that?
Do you have to turn on the ignition before disconnecting the battery so that the alarm system is not activated?
