@@johnpawson7400 yes, it’s a really nice compact bit of kit for travel and I think one most suited for travel, but….I’ve about 12 more to review and test, one of which is a beautiful wood handled one which I’m a bit smitten with….watch this space John, there’s a wide variety of them coming up on the channel and I’m enjoying this side hobby/addiction 😀 👍🏻

@@neilwilliams9844 I’ve bought about 12 new and a couple of collectable older ones….think I’m hooked 😂 Smong those I’ve got the Huntsman Wood, which is virtually same as Fieldmaster but for corkscrew instead of Philips, and the Swiss Soldier knife, very similar to forester… look excellent combination but not used yet

As much as i always liked these knives, I've had a Leatherman as my constant tool for about 10 years.

@thecampingbiker791 the Leatherman has a lovely leather pouch for my belt too. I'll have to think of an excuse/reason to get a nice Victorinox.

@@somersetlevellersmtb5564 from Amazon in May, just double checked an paid £18.77 which was amazingly cheap! Lowest price as of today £23.66

The prices bounce about a lot but every week Victorinox Store (via Amazon) puts a knife up dirt cheap for short period, sometimes saying delivery will be 4/6 weeks, but I’ve found they come within the week!! I’ve watched this daily and bought about 12 knives for review and test (and because I like them 😂) all at similar discounts.. bought the Huntsman, a brilliant knife but not yet reviewed for channel, with wooden scales at half price on a deal.. other thing I do is pop them into my basket for a few days and then remove.. to then sometimes see that knife reduced.. 🤩
Coincidently I’ve got another climber and Huntsman in my basket, the Huntsman is at good price but with transparent scales.. thinking of modifying it as don’t want to touch the wooden handled one!!
Not giving too much away the Climber is a definite keeper as is the Huntsman and between that and the Huntsman (none wooden) will be my long term travel knife..
