- BMW 530 collided with a Volvo XC70 driving in the same direction and braking to turn left. The Volvo XC70 drove into the oncoming traffic lane and collided with a BMW traveling straight in the opposite direction. The Volvo XC70 was damaged during the traffic accident. Driver and two passengers were hospitalized due to injuries

@@DariusDrive i own both so i can compare them very well, big volvo fan, but the e39 is just as robust as the P2, and has much better interior apart from the seats
@@rudkackayes but i am from France i see one day a family killed in crash with this 5 series in the autobahn at spain.. in latéral chock and frontal too Volvo has superior to secure the occupants (for every old cars) but i like German cars.
The xc70 is not in the same league as an e39 and the the only ones that think so are volvo fan boys and this is coming from just a regular car guy

This is exactly why they say not to turn your wheel before you are ready to make the turn. It looks like the Volvo's wheel was turned and when the got rear-ended, it pushed the side of the Volvo into the direction of the BMW SUV.
