@@PlayingSouls you cannot possibly have seen the right race. One thing happened, in the pits, and you're "excited, happy, and satisfied" - this is worse than a Tyson PPV fight from the 90's when he finished the fight in 30 seconds. At least those didn't waste your time.
I’d just like to point out it wasn’t Leclerc’s gearbox that broke, it was the driveshaft. The gearbox was fine.
And it was 100% Leclerc's fault. I really don't get why people are constantly talking about a 'curse' or bad luck. If he kept it out the wall he would have been fine. He wouldn't have been on pole, but he would've been fine. Maybe even scored a podium.
@@Cain353 not necessarily, ferrari said that it may wouldve been the same even without the crash
@@sondreterjesen2380 Of course they did. They failed to check the entire drivetrain. Looks to me like they're trying to save face.
Also, what's the possibility of a drive shaft failure on the drive from the pits to the grid? Pretty much non existent.
It's not a coincidence that Leclerc crashed hard and his drive shaft failed.
@@Cain353 tbf the reason people say it's a "curse" is because he literally has never finished a monaco gp in his whole formula racing career
@@Xtremeboy-hx1oq Yeah. But, there's no such thing as a curse, so just ignore the people saying there is a curse. ;-)
Lewis seemed to forget the fact that he got destroyed by Bottas in qualifying which was the main reason why they ended up in a bad spot. Yes the strategy was also horrible during the race but a little bit of self criticism would not have hurt.
Self criticism from Sir Lewis?
Are you crazy?
He was sent from heaven to race for us, to inspire us, to show us that everything is possible (as long as you race for the most dominant team in f1 history), he should never self criticize, it is always other people's fault!
When Lewis win, he thanks the team for the win. They win as a team. When they mess up, they mess up as a team. Quite a simple concept.
@@brunoalves5339 yeah because he came straight from the womb into a Mercedes right? Never had to prove himself or work hard for anything, he’s had everything handed to him and all the people he ever raced weren’t actually trying to win....
.......oh wait, I just realized you’re an idiot.
@@PlagueOfWasps Mate, he didn't state at all that Lewis does not deserve to be in his place... what he's remarking is that he may not be a 100 but a 95... quite different from what you imply, reading your comment you would think the op had said Lewis is a 0
@@null_spacex yeah except that at the interview with ziggo sport he said ‘i have nothing to learn, my team does’, so according to him its only his team to blame and not himself despite a poor qualifying from him
That Williams comment with Serena is the best 🔥🔥🔥of the year so far…..great work!!
Other communities has Rick rolling
F1 community has sTROLLING
The fact he did race rundown in the first attempt was magical
Congrats matt to do race rundown on the first attempt
The race rundown had me more excited than the race itself
Matt getting the Race Rundown was one of the best moments of the F1 season
"THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS, IT'S UNFAIR."
"Take a seat, young Skywalker."
BS.
*overtake happens*
Lance Stroll: allow me to introduce myself
I actually really liked the race
The fact that I’m a Verstappen fan helped a little lol
Matt: “not really a car guy”
Also Matt: *works for WTF1 and lives/breathes watching cars go vroom*
It’s funny how Leclerc didn’t have problems on the gearbox today and you believe he had it
Leclerc himself believed that to be the problem too right after it happened.
To be honest, Ferrari seem to be saying that to look better and for some reason nobody is questioning why they didn't check the drive shaft (which is you know attached to the gear box) after the crash.
@@deeznoots6241 Ferrari would know that considering the amount of time that they've competed in motorsport as a whole..... I've never seen a team become of much of a meme in my life
Pinical of motorsport! Apprently. And they dont check both sides!! 😂. Something smells of fish here whole thing... If he was told to crash to hold pole. Or come up with it himself on that lap then it back fired hard!! Couldn't stop laughing
@@deeznoots6241 Ofc they did. What do u pretend they aren't professional. They are just sunday mechanic having a bit of fun on the truck
Hearing Hamilton whining made me so happy...
All the drivers I’m to lazy to write

RUclips: this seems like a good time for an ad, no?
Me: breaking my finger on the skip ad button
Seeing you doing the race rundown first try is like you got your first Grand-Chelem Matt
Merc fans: delete Monaco! RB and Ferrari fans: I'm starting to warm to this track.
Matty: RAAAAAAAAH!
We cry at the begging but at the end (at least me) was so pleased to see Max, Carlos and Lando on the podium, all new faces there 🤩💞🥳
14:59 OMG 😱
I had a bad race director moment it cut into an ad just as Matt was about to say Schumacher in the race rundown
Matt nailing the Race Rundown first time was definitely the best part of the Monaco GP weekend :D
Bottas in dts season 4: “it was all a part of my plan. This gave me an advantage” 😂
Actually the best episode in so long Matt had me in bits
Good to see Dacha in the List.
Waiting for his next videos.
Most exciting thing i seen in f1 with matt doing race run down in 1 take
Kvyat's ex Mrs really likes the cameras , she got her hooks in deep on max 🤣
I noticed that too. Every photo she’s looking directly at the cameras and always knows where they are - but hey ho they seem happy 😃
Baby daddy max incoming soon
This was very therapeutic... Thanks!
Tom Kristensen, who was one of the commentators today for Danish tv, was also very VERY not pleased about the “let’s not show exciting midfield battle, let’s show a Stroll jumpy replay”-debacle
"Tom kristensen could've won at least 5 titles."
"Ok grandpa. Let's get you to the retirement home."
Thank you , i enjoyed with you and all the reactions ❤
Matt: I'm gonna do race rundown first try
Does it first try
Me: WTF1
Matt's race run down is so smooth… like Monaco GP without safety car
When Valterri was stuck in the pits, I could almost hear him yelling "What's my password?!"
Matt's Race Rundown was more entertaining than the race itself.
Mick Schumacher had an engine issue and still almost beat Mazepin.
Mazepin all entire race was close to Mick (before problem), so no
@@Indy_660 you're actually wrong. Before the problem he was around 15 seconds off of Mick and that was after only around 20 laps. If that is close than Albon was close to Max all year. I can tell you are a fan, but he is not ready for f1. He is getting demolished by his teammate and it's embarrassing. He is over half a second off Mick normally, which is worse than Albon compared to Max. Can you give me one reason why he belongs in f1 and not f2. He came 5th in f2 and this is his first weekend without spinning. That's embarrassing. No matter how you look at it.
@@shaunlevin5081 ok, i check
On 20 lap he was near 5 sec behind...You are blind or what? And all time he was close in this race, before problem.
He came 5th after all penaltyes.
Reasons why he in f1? Simply, money. And he have speed (at least in f2)
Great to see the race results reflecting driver skill
It is very rude when drivers pass each other. Have some patience and follow each other.
one week of no ibr has really given me separation anxiety, so excited when it out
Now the best part of the Monaco GP is Matt nailing the race rundown!
Seb coming out the pits be like, oh hey lewis having a bad day? Be shame if someone was to take another place? 🤣
"The best Williams at the circuit today"
I literally laughed out loud at this. TOO savage yet so accurate.
