Cerro Gordo Belshaw Union Shaft 900ft DOWN VIEW

This is a video i did not intend to share but due to the interest of the town I am sharing it. Raw format and low lighting. This was not filmed by me. This was filmed by Metabolic Studios which is part of the Annenberg Foundation that shared it with me before our descent to the bottom. At the time I put the the texts in this video, we were planning our route down and avoiding obstacles ahead of time . We were not sure the 900ft level was even accessible. The cage with the camera attached stopped short due to an obstruction. It stopped just enough to see a reflection of something but it was not clear. This peaked our interest even more!

I have not talked with the new owner. I also am not sure how i can help since water is now flowing and there is not much left of the mine. This mine has been documented and catalog'd. On to the next ones!

SpeedFreakLS1 the new owner mentioned he has some maps for the mines on the property but not all of them, maybe something you’d be interested in helping to map some of the unknown ones?
