I wrap my lugs with electrical tape but I have decided not to remove the bracelet on my Tudor anymore as it was no easy feat. Removing is easy as I use a filed down spring bar tool but reinstalling is where the problem is.
Thanks for the advice on this. I was trying with the single bar tool for hours. It just seems impossible. I was worried my steel strap was going to be a thing of the past. 😂 Just grabbed one to make the change tomorrow.
Dude, you have a really difficult time pronouncing names lol. Thanks for the tip on this tool though, wish I had known about it before buying the spring bar tools that cause scratches..
I bought the cheap (Chinese?) version of this tool, and it’s worthless. I wish you’d used this tool in your video. My BB has very narrow link access grooves, so the tool I have doesn’t fit into it.
Marshall Time Have you tried the Bergeon and the Horofix tweezers? Is there actually any difference between them and is the higher cost of the Bergeon justified?
I have this tool. It’s well worth paying a little more and getting a good quality one as it makes strap changes easier and no more scratches 👍🇬🇧
Just an FYI..... The Horofix tool is made in China.... Doesn't make it junk but just making you aware

I gave it a pretty good scratch when I was putting mine on

Great video thanks I’m getting on of these for sure. I have the BB GMT and the BB ETA blue.
Thanks for great annotation.

I may have to try this tool... been looking for a decent one but couldn’t pull the trigger in the bergeon one..
Is the bracelet specific for the 79220n?
why are the lugs so damaged if it came on a strap? Seems fishy.

Nice video. Where did you get your timegrapher? What are you using for a workbench area?
xnikateenx Both of them from Amazon
I have that tool and it still didn't work. I've heard that the spring bars for the bracelet are different than the leather...
Ever think about doing a collection video?
E VH was going to soon
Gotta have the bracelet. Worth the pain and suffering.
mr bacchus very true
I have trouble bonding with my Black Bay. Thinking about selling It.
