- The parts car needs a parts car. Luckily, I scored a great deal on the last parts car that has most of the leftovers we need to get the triple black 1993 Mustang GT back together. In this video we will strip the parts we need for our rebuild.

I never thought anyone would watch either. Had I known I would have recorded the work I did 25 years ago. That was much more impressive compared to this easy stuff. I’m too old, and maybe wise to work like that anymore. 😂

I remember a job I had where I spent most of the day drilling out spot welds, had 3 drills as they would get really hot after a while
That is why I use electric, my compressor can’t keep up. 😂
Make sure you do the safety squint when you do metal drilling
I did the same, with the gas that smelled like turpentine form my Toyota Motorhome's auxiliary tank. I strained it through cheese cloth and mixed it into my Isuzu's tank. It ran fine.

Dilution and use is the best way to get rid of old gas. Either in a beater car or the lawn mower.
My other beater car is a lawnmower! 😂
Well you certainly know how to choose quality. Seriously. By the late 80's and early 90's, Ford had largely sorted out the aging Fox Body Mustang. With a fourteen year production run, it had one of the longest production runs of any American passenger car.
I just pick the ones with the best resale. 😂

A friend in highschool had a 88 gt. Black with a red stripe. He destroyed the transmission. 25 years ago. Pretty sure its still on blocks in barn. Weird how life treats ya.

Believe it or not, I pulled trim off my Impala to replace and I used peanut butter to remove the old tape from the molding. I spread it on and let it set overnight and it came off easily.
it's all that peanut oil in the peanut butter. Perfect solution and the mice will love you.
You left out the most important detail, how did the moulding taste with the peanut butter? 😂

@@vehcor I never use the 16mm either hardly.. I found 2 bolts on my Old Chevy that were 16. The transmission mount and the belt tensioner
Don’t worry Ford used a 16mm on those bumper shock bolts! 😂 They really did use the entire set on this car!

I know it's a triple black convertible, but geeze that's alot of effort!, when it comes to Fox bodies, as far as I'm concerned the holy grail is a 92 LX coupe, 5.0 , (stick of course) red over black!, definitely not a convertible fan!

It is, with an L98 and 700R4 out of an 86 Vette. I built it 30 years ago. I’ll finish it someday but I bet it will start right up after sitting for 10 years.
