Mike, you need a couple of cats in the yard to deal with the rodent situation. The bumper looks incredible such a fantastic job can't wait to see the hood fender and door done.
If you left the instructions for the "Mouse Blocker" in the glove box, that rookie mistake is how they learned and read about how to destroy the correct wires and the horn for added safety. The car has really transformed and its so frustrating to me when you know how to fix the front suspension yet nothing goes right. (I call it, " The are you kidding me, headache.") Great shows as always.
I was thinking the same thing. Might have to keep benzo in the house or garage. And if Lola likes cats roll out the welcome mat for any stray cats to have them catch the mice
Hello Mike: new subscriber here. Enjoy all of your videos. Super interesting to see how you fix the cars and love that you are helping out other businesses. We are going to need to make things again in this country, high quality, long lasting parts. Its already starting, can you feel it!😀
We run a 1996 saloon version of your wagon, for 10 years, it was only the 200 and had a manual gear box, but it was one of the most reliable and comfortable cars we have ever owned. They are not collectors items by any means today, but they still represent capacious, comfortable and reliable family transport and what you are doing to an unfashionable, but still amazing vehicle is commendable. May I recommend that you look at the first generation CLS 320 CDI at some point, because that was what we went over to from the 200 E Class and we still have it - it is a marvellous car!
Watching your videos while I work (I work in the automotive industry, so I swear it's "productive") is what gets me through the day. Cheers from SF, and keep doing your thang, Mike!
Nice transformation with a few new parts. Keep going and it will look like it rolled of assembly line. I say lock up your pets Mike, you never know who will eat them, or lie about it.
Hey Mike, just saying I love the cars you choose. I have the same car in black. I did that bumper too. I don’t know how you did all that work, that would have killed me. Keep it up, best car channel on RUclips!
Pre-painted replacement bumpers is such a great idea. I think you'll always have mice problems because of that field behind your backyard. Maybe lay some bait along the fence line or something.
The s210 is coming along great Mike. Love to see the progess and the new painted front bumber looks perfect. To get rid of the mice try saturating some cotton wool with peppermint oil and leaving it under the bonnet as mice are not fond of that smell.
Hi Mike! I use the original IRISH SPRING bar soap when I put them up for the winter. I cut them into chunks and placed them around, under the car and a couple under the hood.i saw people shred them like grated cheese and put them in a container.
You need a large hungry cat like our neighbours had years ago they slept outside and were not in the least bit friendly but cured their mouse and rabbit problem. The Saab is looking well Mike you are making huge progress on your skill set and I hope that you make 100k subscribers by Christmas 👍🏻🏴
I use moth balls and they work every time! Guarantied to keep away mice, rats. squirrels and as a bonus Moths. When parking a vehicle for any length of time I put some in the trunk, under the hood, in the intake, near the ventilation system and inside the car. Have yet to have a rodent problem.
Lol, Mike, I work with a few cat rescues. All kidding aside, maybe there's an empty house near you that keeps attracting the rats? Anyway, keep on with you projects, man, you're doing great! It inspires me to keep working on my own.
You need a yard cat Mike! But you have the perfect recipe for bait. Peanut butter on a cheap snap trap. Our last house was kind of remote and a “zombie house” for 5 years. Every winter we had mice coming in. Snap traps and peanut butter always did the trick.
I had a similar mouse problem. They decided to eat the headliner in my 1972 Satellite Sebring. I was told to use dryer sheets and Irish Spring soap. The mice used the dryer sheets for nesting material and chewed on the soap. I could almost hear them laughing at me for this foolish attempt at mouse thwartage. I’ve had better success with the ultra-sonic noise makers, but nothing so far has completely deterred the little vandals. I look forward to seeing what successful solution you come up with.
Hey Mike! I have learned that from a few people if you keep your hood slightly open that it is supposed to keep mice and rats away from the engine. Maybe you could try that. Those rodents are hard to get rid of!
No and No! I lost two of my cats because the neighbour thought that was a good idea. The mice don't just eat and die. The user has no control over were they go.
I had the mice trouble with my CL, wrapped it up over winter to avoid the winter salt and the mice nested and destroyed my coolant hoses. You can imagine my 💩💩 with mice in a CL; they’re pretty fragile to start with 😂
Hey Mike you rid them of most common of the places but there's one place that should be taken care of you have a rat condo in the car and that is in the heater box inside they love that place not many people go to the extent of going that deep but they love that place
Have you tried peppermint oil for the rodents. Some have claimed it has helped them. I used it on cotton balls. When I used a storage unit. And didn’t notice any rodents activity.
You need a clothes sanitiser/freshener that goes in the spin dryers. Had mice as i have a 2017Mustang in OZ hint, hint. No problems after that you wipe the areas with the freshener cloth.
My bet they come out of that field behind your house there. It also looks like you’re close to downtown so they probably go to that field for rest and relaxation and sneak up on your house.

Mike, you need a couple of cats in the yard to deal with the rodent situation. The bumper looks incredible such a fantastic job can't wait to see the hood fender and door done.
+ 1 on the cats. Farmers keep cats in the barn to keep the rodents and snakes away.

Hello Mike aka Monkey Wrench Mike. Working on the 2013 Mercedes Wagon. Putting a new bumper. Also fixing the steering problems.
dude you're weird.
Mike you might need the pied piper for the rats 🐀 lol 😂 . Nice work Mike 🔧🚘🔥👍🫡.
I'm afraid to say but you need a few outdoor cats. Also, if you have food out where they can get at it you will always have Rats and mice.
I was thinking the same thing. Might have to keep benzo in the house or garage. And if Lola likes cats roll out the welcome mat for any stray cats to have them catch the mice
At least 2 female cats.

Quack qauck brother. And woof woof

Hey, Mousewrench Mike! Put some mothballs in the engine compartment and dryer sheets in the cabin. Hope that helps.
Mike, you're awesome!!
Nancy great job..I gotta share your link on Facebook..Hahaaa. The mouse said hahahaha!
Ripper collection you have - 2 wagons, jag, Saab and the merc in the car hold are 🔥
Great job and very nicely done! And as usual a very nice video! Regarding the rat problem: get a cat and the problem is solved!
That rat was quite impressive. It let the mouse blocker know it is not a mouse.
Hi Mike!
I use the original IRISH SPRING bar soap when I put them up for the winter. I cut them into chunks and placed them around, under the car and a couple under the hood.i saw people shred them like grated cheese and put them in a container.
Of course, the Irish spring keeps mice away!
I´m glad.W210 is my favourite Mercedes.
You and Randy need to do more videos as well with Santa's workshop
Another awesome video Mike
Keep up the good work my friend

Put peppermint oil mixed with water in a spray bottle, spray everything
Mike you should give the waggon a name. I'would call her Sophie
You should probably have the movie soundtrack from Ben playing in the background.
Looking good ..love the olds also ... Guess you can always name them rattybenze ..
Peppermint oil for rat repellant Working for me thanks for the Videos Mike
Be well
That’s hilarious that the mice ate the mouse blocker! You might have a problem there, Mikey
Smart mice !

Love the wagon, Mike! I agree, you need a couple of outdoor cats to resolve your rat problems! What's your opinion of a 2010 E350?
Get some exterior rodent bait stations and bait blocks( Tractor Supply)
Lol, Mike, I work with a few cat rescues. All kidding aside, maybe there's an empty house near you that keeps attracting the rats? Anyway, keep on with you projects, man, you're doing great! It inspires me to keep working on my own.

Our last house was kind of remote and a “zombie house” for 5 years. Every winter we had mice coming in. Snap traps and peanut butter always did the trick.
Mike you should get yourself a shop
Hi Mike .. Just get a couple of cats and your mice problem is over 😻
Good luck
I had a similar mouse problem. They decided to eat the headliner in my 1972 Satellite Sebring. I was told to use dryer sheets and Irish Spring soap. That bumper deal is cool! Go get peppermint oil and put inside and in trunk and engine bay. They hate it.
That's only way I got rid of them last year. Can also put it around outside of ur house to keep em out
Mike you should get a cat. Before you give them the car, you should take stuff apart, like door handles, trims, grill, etc.
Hey Mike! I have learned that from a few people if you keep your hood slightly open that it is supposed to keep mice and rats away from the engine. Maybe you could try that. Those rodents are hard to get rid of!
When something doesn't move for a while you get squatting. Your furry friends move in. You are going to have to start periodically.
MWM you have some smart mice.
What is the website for the bummper i am looking for a bumper for my 2003 ml320
Bumpersthatdeliver.com
JT Eaton Bait Blocks ,peanut butter flavor.
Just make sure to keep away from pets.
No and No! I lost two of my cats because the neighbour thought that was a good idea. The mice don't just eat and die. The user has no control over were they go.
@@philbellamy5556
Maybe Keep your cats inside if you love your pets.
Enjoy your videos! What are you using in the mouse trap for bait?
Peanut butter!
I'd be worried about rats in my house now if I were you.
It's The Mousy Mike Show...
I had the mice trouble with my CL, wrapped it up over winter to avoid the winter salt and the mice nested and destroyed my coolant hoses. You can imagine my 💩💩 with mice in a CL; they’re pretty fragile to start with 😂
Bait boxes and glue boards!
Can you pin the website for the bumper?
Time to add a barn cat mouser to your zoo
You could borrow my cat. No more mice
Nice 😊
Mike, mice hate the smell of mint! There should be a mint repellent spray at your local hardware store.
Dryer sheets are good for mice but not rats. You're going to have to break down and get you an outside cat. 😽
Hey Mike you rid them of most common of the places but there's one place that should be taken care of you have a rat condo in the car and that is in the heater box inside they love that place not many people go to the extent of going that deep but they love that place
Mr Mike you need a CAT!!!!!

Leave the hood popped up . They won't move in under the hood . I love in the middle of nowhere and I have to do this to my daily driver .
My bet they come out of that field behind your house there. It also looks like you’re close to downtown so they probably go to that field for rest and relaxation and sneak up on your house.
You need some cats, Mike.
them mouse? own you mike! ... 8/
Get a cat; that will solve the mice problem.
Put irish spring bar soap
What the honk 😂😂😂
Haha!!
I'm here for the duck lol
I have the special tool needed to remove the rear shocks for that car if you need it.
