- Here is one of the Barbie’s I remember having and picking out myself! She is so cool, and neat to own as an adult who actually had her as a child. I can see her through a new lens! This girl has a pretty versatile look, but definitely was second banana the second I got jewel girl Barbie. Who was my favorite Barbie as a child. She was a “Easter” gift from my memory. But not from the Easter bunny, from my momma! Who had very similar hand writing to the Easter bunny, and Santa. She’s so talented!
The Fashion Avenue fashion, concert on the green, is so pretty! It’s very well made too, so if you are on the fence about it, don’t be, it’s actually quite nice.
This review was brief and quick, I realize it’s not as interesting as when bugs and rat poo fly out of the box as it seems usual when I open dolls, but to be honest that’s a rare case when I see revolting dolls. This doll was your typical unboxing. Where she was clean and still ready for whatever life has in store for her. While all vintage dolls could use a bath anyway, this one just needed some love and a new fashion. Although I love her dress, and the dress preceded my childhood doll, I had it forever lol and the doll I think got donated when I was a child by accident when we moved. I really wanted to see this doll in a Fashion Avenue design!

I've recently got into the Fashion Avenue fashions, especially from the mid 90s. They're great, and so well made too.

Love her! I also had her growing up as well as a couple of the other girls in the line. I still have their dresses and one of the little flower box bags. 🥹💕 Such a sweet line. Love the bangs!

I had that doll, the brunette, redhead and African American dolls. Will buy them back.

I’d have to agree. These Barbie’s eat up today’s Barbie’s in every way. We shouldn’t revert our new diversity, but we should never be in the spot we’re at now with how Barbie quality is right now. There’s simply no excuse.
I'm not a huge fan of the Generation Girl (is that the name?) face mold. But she's not the worst. My favorites are probably definitely Superstar, Steffi, and I really like the Mackie face mold too! ❤
See, the GG mold was the face of my childhood, i remember when it came out, i was 5. And it was such a moment! So I do like it. However I understand what you mean, the mackie mold is really versatile and can’t be beat.

Wow that’s one I would want too. Fashion avenue is such a great clothing line. I wish they were more accessible where I am, and cheaper to get a hold of!
