    Ne Sandhills Salutations! Loved your cute Easter Eggs and Bunnies! They are so cute. A quick tip for all. I have worked with felt and embroidery floss for years. If anyone has a problem with the DMC floss, separating for getting knotted up, just give an 18" length a quick swipe of glue stick and let dry a few minutes. This also helps with people with arthritis in their fingers. Thank you for all your creative information.

    So beautiful, so adorable! The bunny you tucked in the basket and cut the legs off would be a cute finger puppet! It probably would fit two or three fingers depending on the size of the fingers. Thanks for sharing, Valerie

    You can hide your knots by starting your stitching by going between the two felt layers and then when you get back around you would tie your knot and it would be nicely hidden between the two layers of felt!

    Jennifer. I just loved this video. I learned so many things I didn't know before. Thank you so much for inspiring me with these techniques. I just loved , loved , loved the little bunny holding the money. That one was my favorite and it wasn't because of the money.😃 But I will be trying that for this holiday. Thank you so much for all your great videos.

    I am a stitcher, if you make a little knot and start sewing between the layers you can hide the knots inside the first two layers. These are so cute!

    I love how you keep the felt rolls tidy and rolled up with the original label. What do you do with the scraps - keep them inside the roll or in a separate container? You have fabulous organization skills and would love to hear!
    As soon as you mentioned DMC Thread, I thought about all the colors I had when I used to cross stitch. I wonder if my mom still has them - it would make starting this new addiction a little bit cheaper. ;)

    These are SO adorable!!!! Just watching your video makes me ADDICTED, but my pocket book can't handle that right now. Future gifts! I know that you mentioned in your video that you've saved your thread from years ago...but how would you suggest matching the thread to your paper/felt?? Just take your paper/felt with you to the store when trying to pick exact or similar colors? Just curious for if and when I start this addiction! LOL!

    Im sure you already know about not using the laminator or minc machine to use the foils. Using with reg. Special Glues on the rubber stamps. Maybe on your next tutorial you could give your RUclips channel a view of the new tech. Just my thought.

    Hi Jennifer!! I have a quick question for ya. In the video, you said you use 2 different types of thread. One that doesn't separate into a bunch of threads and one that does (like DMC). But when I pulled the Iris thread up, it says it has 5 or 6 ind. strands as well. Did I miss something or am I looking at the wrong thread? I have DMC, but I'd like to try a thread that doesn't separate. Thanks for all the tips!!

    • @karaninagermony5391
      @karaninagermony5391 7 лет назад +1

      I was just about to ask the same question. I bought both featured flosses and both separate like DMC. I would really like to find one that does not.

    • @tanyaperrin1218
      @tanyaperrin1218 6 лет назад +1

      SInce I saw your question I thought I'd answer even though it's been a while. At my local stores the thread she is talking about is on the shelves above the 'regular' DMC threads. It is priced a bit higher (like $1.97 as opposed to $0.50) and it is much 'thicker' looking. Hope this helps.

    you mention the two kinds of thread you use to stitch these designs. i understand the one kind doesn't pull apart, but the cross stitch floss you also show (i have a TON left over from when i was younger and cross stitched too) do you ever pull them apart and use less strands? if you don't, do you find that it comes apart once you are done with the projects?

      she was using a die cutting machine ; there are many kinds, and each vary in price. Most if not all are the same machine to use with embossing folders. They are available on line, or at Michael's Hobby Lobby, JoAnn's, HSN or Tuesday Morning....a good place to find craft supplies. The prices vary by machine. Be sure to look for coupons for your retailer of choice. Jennifer's uses a Big Shot I think, check her link for that name.
