No. This is a wool blend felt which is a combination of wool and rayon. The felt you find at JoAnn is typically acrylic. It will work the same, but it is not as dense and the colors tend to be more primary. It just doesn’t look nearly as good. I recommend Benzie Design for wool blend felt.

I trace the pattern on Heatbond Lite sewable. Then iron onto felt and cutout. Be careful if pattern is upside-down.

Washing instructions?
Because there is wool felt, I would spot treat when possible. Use cold water any time you are working with wool so it doesn’t shrink as much.
