I have my interview last Thursday. Your videos helped me calm down and think straight. I was offered the job and at the salary I told them I would like. Thank you
Thank you for all your advice, I landed a very hard to get job at the county sheriffs dept. I'm still stunned! lol It was so smooth and great to know how to answer the questions in the right way. "tell me about yourself" was the first question, my answer was - I am interested in law, I love jury duty, and volunteer online jury participation. They said no one ever said that before. lol Liking jury duty? Got the job. :-)
Another great video Don. Based on your breakdowns of characters, one a 100 percent scale I now know where I fit: 20 % Analytical 30 % Amiable 15 % Expressive 35 % Driver This is how I view myself about my character traits, and at least I have a better understanding of how people see me, whether negative or positive, and I can make certain changes to help me on my next interview experience. thank you.
Don, I'm a Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering student at the Georgia Institute of Technology. How do I answer the "tell me about yourself" question considering I am still a junior and college and have absolutely no work experience in the field of engineering? How do I make a well rounded statement without boring them with my person life? Thanks!
How do you answer, tell me about yourself when in a panel interview? There are several different styles in the room. Do you cater to the person that asking the question?
I did this yesterday. Just remember to keep it focused on the job, not who those personalities are, you won't know. I interviewed with 5 sheriffs to work at the jail. So, I told them I am interested in law, always wanted to be an investigator, love jury duty. They said no one ever said that before. I got the job.
