    Did it right now, used a small tiny flat head screw driver. Worked perfect.

    What about the potential for scratching the finish on the lugs? Or just find a tool that is not metal? Thanks.

    And it ain't wa-la, it takes some work to match up the spring bar and fit it in. Don't make it seem so easy, because it ain't.

    How can I do it without that tool? I've been trying with other pins at home and they are just sliding across the bar, no grip😢.

      Some spring bars have a quick release system on them! They’re designed to be removable with just your fingers. Unfortunately if you don’t have that kind of spring bar the tool is your only option

      Just did it with a micro flat head 😂 just find the notch on the spring bar and try not to scratch the watch.

      @BGboarder06 Thanks, man. I found a small flat head. Same exact size as the tool he has in the video. Worked great was able to pop them out. And then install them. I put the straps in the wrong way at first.

    Do you press it or just pull backwards?

    • @WatchTWM
      @WatchTWM  Год назад +2

      You apply force towards the centre of the springbar , so “inside” if that makes sense

  • @Zragman

    Yeah funny thing is. The replacement band has the spring inside one side of the band. One side of spring pin comes off. Then there’s a spring inside. Yeah not easy peasy. Done these things like video n finger nails before. This is a losing situation. Can’t remove internal band spring. So I’m hosed. Yeah don’t sell bands with already placed pins inside coming apart. 🤦🏻‍♂️

    • @WatchTWM
      @WatchTWM  Год назад +2

      For sure it takes getting used to, once you do it a few times it’s smoother to do. Worst case try swapping out the spring bar itself, sometimes they come stiff and sticky from the factory!
