That's actually the exact reason I love it. The almost piney taste is something I've enjoyed for years. Though I do smoke as well so it could have something to do with my favoring towards more herbal/ piney flavor notes

My absolute favorite is the "1517 Miner's Gin" from Grassl. It is distilled in an old and very small distillery in the Bavarian Alps and then rests for 3 months in clay barrels in an old salt mine under the Alps. But from the ones shown here, I would go with the Roku Gin or the Hendricks Gin. The Bombay Sapphire on the other hand is also a good solution, not because it is the best, but it is still a good one and you can get it almost everywhere and it has a good price-performance ratio.

Watch yourself as a self-proclaimed Gin connoisseur and a bartender, Hendricks is better than Bombay Sapphire hands down.. especially being $10-15 cheaper depending on store mark up..anytime I recommend Hendricks over Bombay I've gotten bigger tips and more compliments about the drinks tasting better weather a simple gin and tonic or even a Long Island iced tea good gin makes a difference
