Woah dude, my desktop looks totally different now! Thank you for this content, I didn't feel like downloading softwares or other stuff, this was exactly what I wanted. You have a very big potential with your channel, and you just got a new sub ;) EDIT: just a tip to hide OBS while recording, you can create a new desktop by pressing windows + tab and selecting new desktop in the top left corner, and then open OBS there (desktop 2), it will keep recording without any problems ;)
I’m pretty sure those cheap versions of windows 10 are bought in bulk which is what make them cheap. But honestly, I would just buy a fresh new copy of windows 10.

btw you can also go into taskbar settings and make the taskbar not visible when you arent hovering over it, that way it is just your wallpaper showing ;)

Pinta alternative of paint.net, Gimp with photogimp add on is a replacement of photoshop, firefox, chrome and all work perfectly, for text editors/IDEs, we have vscode, vim, emacs, nano, sublime etc.. I play osu!, quaver, CSGO and minecraft, they work natively except for osu! which requires wine. Not saying it is for everyone, but if your the type of guy that likes to have customizability and you don't do video editing then its for you, if you like microsoft office, then its not for you. I think Wallpaper Engine is a huge waste of money. It costs about $15 in my country (I'm not talking about the conversion from my currency to USD. It's about how it really costs in compare to average earnings). And second of all it's boring after some time. I stopped using it after about 2 weeks and I regret spending money on that shit. It's also a little bit buggy and laggy even on pretty good PC.

Instead of wallpaper engine, that costs money, use lively wallpapers it’s a free alternative. They have nice default wallpapers and you can use custom ones too

Some tips that i use and you may find either great or not convenient: 1. Taskbar settings - Combine taskbar buttons - never. This saves your time, so you can jump to right window (e.g. browser window) quicker, without waiting for a popup with choice of windows. 2. Remove all the icons pinned in taskbar. Use your desktop for shortcuts instead. This gives more space for your programs that are opened right now and you are more likely to interact with. 3. Right click on taskbar - search - hidden. You can always hit start and type directly into it - there is no need for wasting extra space on your task bar. Like or reply if you want more about system settings.
agree with 1 and 3. with 2, i only have my browser on the taskbar so i can access it with WindowsKey+1. no other shortcuts and icons. the file explorer i can open with WindowsKey+E, and any other app or file i just type in the start menu. :D

You could also use lively wallpaper instead off wallpaper engine, as that allows you to put custom backgrounds.
But wallpaper engine is way better and it has a lot of millions. Of wallpapers you can also put custome ones that you can share it’s just better

And I also recommend lively wallpaper it’s free and it has interactive wallpapers and you can get gifs and it will turn those into your wallpaper
Just a little tip: download the app TranslucentTB from the Microsoft Store, its free. It will make your taskbar translucent, and it looks awesome.👍

Instead of wallpaper engine, that costs money, use lively wallpapers it’s a free alternative. They have nice default wallpapers and you can use custom ones too

or you can use lively wallpapers like i did lol it works like a charm and i have it on both of my pcs
my wallpaper is a clint eastwood cyberpunk... so better than any wallpaper engine :)

Some tips that i use and you may find either great or not convenient:
1. Taskbar settings - Combine taskbar buttons - never. This saves your time, so you can jump to right window (e.g. browser window) quicker, without waiting for a popup with choice of windows.
2. Remove all the icons pinned in taskbar. Use your desktop for shortcuts instead. This gives more space for your programs that are opened right now and you are more likely to interact with.
3. Right click on taskbar - search - hidden. You can always hit start and type directly into it - there is no need for wasting extra space on your task bar.

with 2, i only have my browser on the taskbar so i can access it with WindowsKey+1. no other shortcuts and icons.
the file explorer i can open with WindowsKey+E, and any other app or file i just type in the start menu. :D

You can still get those wallpapers, the only downside is that it might not be animated and you lose customizability, since it is only a still image.
