I mean it's not that scary like it sounds, using terminal is optional but very helpful

Also it's based on Ubuntu so you can follow many guides and should be fine

Would also like to mention that QTTtab Bar is a good alternative to "files app". Does pretty much the same job with multitab features etc, by integrating with Windows native file explorer.

😂 I'm already using all the tools you suggested. Still a nice representation and good to have a public source that consolidates all the tools. Now I can just share this video to my non-techy friends.
    Two pro tips:
    1. you can enable preview pane in normal file explorer too. It is handy when choosing files from browse dialog in programs.
    2. Install "winget" command line to tool for installing programs.
Literally you could install all the programs you showed using single command in power shell.
Eg. winget install powertoys, winget install taskbarx, winget install 7zip
Thats it single line to install your favourite programs

I have tried the preview pane, I find it very limited. Thanks for the tip about the command line!

Alternative title: How to fit even more bloatware in Windows 10

      Windows 10? Bloatware?
Dude, its not 2015 anymore bro, get with the times.
Windows 10 2021 is nothing but very useful features out of the box. Its security is even on par with Linux now, and its speed is sublime. Windows 10 only struggles on 32 bit machines with less than 4GB ram, but only poor 3rd world countries still use 32 bit ancient junk.

    • @angrysocialjusticewarrior
      @angrysocialjusticewarrior 3 года назад +1

@@DiamondZombie Weather app and the xbox setting are both very useful apps that I personally use regularly.
In fact, Microsoft has improved the weather app and made a "temperature" icon to display on the taskbar in the latest windows 10 update.
Im a developer but also a gamer so the xbox integration is a huge plus (including microsoft's own gamepass as well).
like I said, "bloatware" is a term that is no longer applicable to the current version of windows 10.
