There are quite a few Orphan Black fans who weren't crazy about the first half of Season 5. I've yet to find anyone who doesn't love the back half of this final season.
That's so interesting! I think this has been one of my favorite seasons. Hard to say though. But I've definitely enjoyed the first half a lot!! But I've heard that the last 4 especially are INCREDIBLE.
Helena doesn't have miraculous healing powers. She's really tough and battles through her injuries, self surgery and whatever. The reason she survived the gunshot wound though is that her organs are in mirror image to normal, so her heart is on the right, not left.

This is the ep I thought Orphan Black could really benefit from a side series to go into all of the background information. This stuff is hard to fathom on a good day lol. But that Cophine 😍

Okay, to be fair, Cosima was less suspicious of Delphine in this episode than she was entitled to. And the only reason for that is that she's finally certain where Delphine's loyalities lie, she's just unsure she will like the way Delphine is getting things done.
I mean, we get to see Delphine working with Mrs. S on the outside, but Cosima doesn't know that. For her Delphine disappears, she finds her working in Neolution camp, has hardly any time to talk to her, then Delphine buggers off to Sardinia, comes back and goes immediately to PT, digs some information from Cosima, is invited to a fancy dinner where she is walks hand in hand with PT (Cosima most likely knows about her and Leekie and that background isn't really helping here), and in that time she had managed to betray Cosima and spill her secrets to PT.
Cosima is known for jumping into conclusions and being really unwilling to hear Delphine's side of things. Like when she kicks Delphine out of the lab for knowingly using Kira's tooth for her treatment, and then immediately ordering a new tooth from Kira herself.
In this episode she lets Delphine explain and accepts that explanation not once, but twice. When the second betrayal is actually quite damning. So we can see that she really, really wants to trust Delphine. Delphine doesn't even tell her what's going on, she just tells that Cosima has to trust that she's working for the endgame for the clones. And Cosima trusts her.
We can see that Cosima actually managed to understand Delphine's underline motives in s3 when she tells Delphine she understands why Delphine did everything she did. And that losing Delphine really affected her. Because she's really letting things slide that she wouldn't have previously. Even before Delphine explains anything to her in the island, she tells Charlotte that Delphine has their back. She really trust Delphine is on their side, it's just her methods she's still a little suspicious about.
Everything I said about the situation in the outro aligns with this. Although I do think Delphine has already made it clear from before this event that she is working on stuff and can't tell Cosima everything and she just has to trust her. So Cosima may need Delphine to say it AGAIN but she's already been told this. But I feel like I was pretty fair to Cosima in my outro and said basically all the same things you did. I think it's understandable for her to struggle with fully letting go and letting Delphine do what she needs to do I just don't think it's fair necessarily for her to claim entitlement to informed consent over every move Delphine makes when Delphine has made it pretty clear she can't tell her everything or it'll mess it all up. But ya, I was pretty fair with Cosima this episode imo!
@@KelseasComments Oh, I didn't think you were unfair. I'm sorry if that text came out that way, it wasn't my intention. I was just elaborating on Cosima's point of view and the difference between her relationship with trust and Delphine in this season versus other seasons.

Rachel pushing on that stab wound.. guess she learned something from Delphine pushing her finger into her injured eyeball. All the Yanis stuff was so fucked, at least in Mud he had someone who was trying as best as she could

@@KelseasComments To give some perspective. Sarah Michelle Gellar got $350,000 per episode in the last season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer for playing essentially two characters. And it was calcluated that in the last season of Game of Thrones Lena Headey (Cercei) got $48,000 per minute of screentime. So $50,000 for 5 main characters in 40-60min episodes feels criminally underpaid.

I totally noticed that too!!! Tatiana either isn't as good of a kisser just in general OR she struggled with really leaning into a Sapphic kiss because it was definitely noticeable. 🤣

Ya you're right I don't think I ever noticed anything lacking in her kisses with Paul. So I think maybe she just struggles to fully lean in to kissing a woman! Cause Delphine absolutely carried that scene. 💀

Darn. I hadn't noticed that, but now I can't unsee it, it's so obvious. Like I saw there was something odd, but didn't exactly pinpoint that it was Tatiana who was lacking with passion there.
Tho, like Tatiana once said when asked about whose a better kisser, Delphine or Paul. In Cosima's mind, Delphine's a way better kisser. And in Sarah's mind... Delphine's a way better kisser.
Cosima was either the Sunfish or Starfish. I can't remember either. I didn't like the way Cosima was written in this episode. For her to forget why she was there and the stakes for Kira was strange. It was like she had forgotten what happened the past 5 seasons. Strange. Great Reaction. Your empathy for all life is amazing. I've seen many shallow reactors and you aren't. You have depths. Forcing Kira to have 1300 kids at that age is beyond disgusting.
The sunfish!! I've never heard of that so I forgot but I know it was sun something lol. And thank you for the nice comments! And ya.. the surrogacy stuff with Kira is just beyond evil I can't even stand thinking about that being done to her. 😭

It’s frustrating when someone does a reaction to a show/movie you enjoy, but their volume is all wrong!!!! The volume for the actual show they’re watching is turned all the way down you can barely watch along (especially if it’s a show/movie you haven’t seen) so to hear better, you have to turn Your volume UP, which makes their reactions way too LOUD!!!!!!! It sounds trivial, but makes a huge difference. So I just don’t follow them. Even if they’re incredibly attractive. And even if they’re 2 girls. So. 😢
All to say, your videos are actually done right and Edited perfectly. And pleasing to look at. 😊
