I miss that stuff. Moved down south they have lobster but not at the same amount and hard to get to unless you have a boat even then still limited. Half moon bay and bodega were great spots.

I have 100' and 200' ropes. I sometimes connect 2 100' rope if I don't have enough 200' rope. I use 200' rope to drop hoops from 150 to 170' deep. I use 100' rope for 40 to 75 ft deep. Thanks for watching.
@@Fishing247 Thanks. I couldn't decide what length rope to buy. Thinking that 300 feet is too much. What day was this? My friends went out yesterday, HMB, 100-200ft straight out, chicken and cat food, got nothing, zero keepers on 10 hoops dropped 3 times
@NRYT2360 it was on the opening, Saturday 11/2/2024. Oh no. That's fishing. I don't recommend 300'. It is too heavy. You can add another 100' if needed.

No I have not yet. I have heard that over 200' is good.
