Good to see you guys having fun! I was out of Bodega on the 8th, water was clear beautiful blue. Red tide gone. Go north in 130-110 and you’ll find them. I threw back a dozen legal keeps and the ones I kept were 6 & 1/2 and over. Most came on the second tide.
Yes. Hoop design have to be within the regulations. I can pretty much drop hoops everywhere except the red MPA areas. Good luck and be safe on the water.

This is my dream boat. I don't need any fancy boat at all. This is a 20 ft Bayrunner Baja. 1989. 90 HP VMAX Yamaha. Top speed: 35mph. Cruising speed: 25 at 4800 RPM. I can get 4 MPG. 50 gallon gas tank under the floor.
@ I like it, I have the 19.5 bayrunner. But only 50 Honda. She sips on gas which is great but is slow when I have passengers and gear. How much did it cost you for the 90 yammy? Did u do the wiring yourself
The hoop dimensions: 36", 20", 8". Around 14 pounds. This hoops design for boat. A little heavy for kayak. Come with 100' of 5/8" lead rope and 5"x11" red and white buoy. I am thinking of $75 per hoops. I ordered 100 hoops total and it won't arrive for another month.

@@Just_4_Fish I had to go to Oregon to have it installed. Pretty cheap for 90hp VMAX and 9.9 HP Yamaha high thrust for $16k including installation.

@ 5/8 rope is kinda big, do you mean 5/16 rope ?
@@Marv2049 no. It is 5/8". I prefer 5/8 for heavy hoops. Most of my ropes are 5/8". 1/4" or 4/16" is for kayak.
