Sorry for such a long wait between this and the last video. Been sick, weather's been bad, got skunked several times...I know excuses excuses. Well today was about to end with a skunk too! Until this happened! Catch and cook dungeness crab on the rocks :)

A buddy of mine and I would take his canoe out in the harbor (at night) up in Port Angeles, Washington. We'd toss a small fishing net, a 12-volt battery, and spotlight on the floor, then paddle out but stay in about 2...2.5 feet of water. We could pretty much select all perfect Dungeness grabs. One paddled and spotted the crab while the other dipped the net and scooped it up. We could limit in 15 minutes or so.

I have had good success with a uncooked chicken carcass but first cut off all the good parts . I tie it in a hoop net with a lot of 40lb line in big loops to snag the crabs when they attach to the chicken . Just past the elbow I toss it in the harbor where there is a gap in the rocks . Give it 20 minutes and almost every time a keeper or 3 . Love these videos , good job .
