Today I’m going to be sharing with you how To Make best champurrado, chocolate -based atole, or a warm and thick Mexican beverage prepared with corn flour, piloncillo,cinnamon and vanilla it’s honestly perfect for the upcoming weather! 🥳 you can not go without making this delicious Mexican drink

TIP: if you like your champurrado to be thicker, add odd 4-6 cups of milk only, DONT change the base
Ingredients:
1 cups instant corn masa (Maseca)
3 1/2 c water
2 piloncillos
2 cinnamon sticks
10 whole cloves
Pinch of salt
2 Mexican chocolate disk
4-8 cups of milk depending on how thick you like it to be
1 can evaporated milk
1 tbsp Mexican vanilla blend
1 serving of love 💕

Hi Claudia, you are super cute! I made the champurrado recipe and it came out wonderful for tonight's Christmas celebration after we return from Midnight Mass. I was too floja to make it in the pot, so I made it in a vitamix blender using ground cinnamon and ground cloves. After that, I put all the liquids in a pot and then I added the Toasted Maseca. Yesssss some people like it thick, it’s funny because my daughter looove sit and one time she tried it out when she was at my moms event and she was surprised she was like mom this does not taste like champurrado it’s like cereal 😭 that’s when she learned how different people means different recipes and we all don’t make the same dish/drinks the same 😅

One change id make next time would be to add 1/2 the sugar and taste the sweetness at the end before adding more. The 2 pioncillos made it too sweet for me but still yummy (:
