Just made both. The red has a great flavor. Mine came out a smidge more chunky than creamy. Might reblend. Remember you are adding chopped onion and cilantro to the sauce making less creamy. Might add 10 arbol intead of 15. Not sure. The green came out kinda citrusey with the tomatillos and cilantro. Did not care for that. Not sure if its supposed to be like that. I would reduce salt a 1/4. Maybe remove habenero... This verde is really spiçy

Hi Claudia! My husband loves this red salsa recipe, he says it’s the real deal. I think I found your channel searching for authentic tasting flour tortillas and I couldn’t be more grateful. I use your recipes all the time, literally just about every day and have shared your recipes with others. My husband and I both grew up Arizona natives, he was from the Dunlap area in phoenix and I was in the west valley, the Goodyear/ Avondale area. We currently live in Tennessee and we still love and try to recreate our Mexican food we grew up eating (because it’s hard to find authentic over here) and yours is the closest to what we’ve tasted. Taste just like our childhood. I also think it’s funny that your husbands name is Louie because that’s what my husbands name is too😅 anyways, just wanted to let you know that we appreciate your recipes and hard work you put into it!

The beer make the long burn a short burn. and make it richer in flavor... Make it more enjoyable to. Not fighting the long burn. Help thin it down cause of the dry onions and things soaks up the juices and beer > make for a nice balance of flavor can taste every thing in it YUM

F Me, thats some good salsa! We made it last night, and DANG! So, being from Texas we always use Jalepeno and Serrano, the Chile De Arbole.... WOW!

Another technique is using Chicken Bouillon powder. While optional, but it does enhance the sauce.

She’s crazy beautiful and the salsas look great. If I’m going to criticize the video, when she is talking about some of the chilis., she uses the Mexican terminology and I’m not sure I can find the correct chilis in my local markets. I might be more Abel if she slowed down a bit. Otherwise, thanks.

I loved your video but It was a little confusing cooking both at once. Did you boil the chili arbol for the Salsa Roja? I saw you add the Roma Tomatoes to the bowl and 1/2 c water. Then next it shows you adding to the blender with the chili arbol’s. I’m excited to try it but a little confused.

I just love your recipes!!! Why does the red salsa get cooked? What does that do instead of using it raw? Thanks. You are making me an awesome Mexican cook!
