This is the one. Totally digging the 2nd row bench. Can easily fold down the 3rd row seats for more cargo space. 2nd row also has all 3 anchors. This is the suv for families with little ones
Sweet, As an owner of a First Generation Limited Sequoia, she has come quite a long way since my 04, I see a new addition to the family in the near future.
For big families, I would go with a AWD Sienna, too many compromises regarding interior space with this new Sequoia. Your family will thank you.
I'm upgrading to this from a Sienna. While the Sienna is great for hauling people and some cargo in the back, this will tow and carry people.

Yeah the only reason to get this is if you have major towing needs but I guarantee you and especially passengers will miss the interior space and cargo capacity of a minivan.
I really want this! But man only one lower anchor in the 3rd row??? That means only 3 forward facing car seats! And it’s in the middle?? Where it would be terrible to have to install a car seat! Ughhh why!!!?

I’ve always been an SUV person, but a minivan is so much more practical especially regarding car seats. Also, don’t have to worry about the kids hitting the next car when opening the door!
This is exactly the trim and packages I want due to the available 2nd row bench but I’ll be looking for a wind chill pearl.

Me too. But I believe the premium headlights and taillights is an upgrade. Heated and cooled seats, power folding seats, 14 inch screen standard is what I want.
They got rid of the rear window that goes down and the cargo space with the third row up got a lot smaller from previous years. First gen is where it’s at.

Does the chin spoiler delete come standard on TRD offroad? I would like that since that spoiler is an eye sore...

They’re gorgeous but you’re getting into Lexus LX600 territory with the Capstone price. At close to 85-90k, why not spend a few grand more for the Lexus?

@@eggheadegghead I mean, it doesn’t for me. I’d rather drive a Toyota than a BMW. I don’t trust even brand new BMW’s, I’ve had friends have them completely die with less than 10k miles on them. But if you’re spending that kind of money, might as well get the Lexus experience with a loaner for service and everything else that goes with it.

No, the LX is made in Japan, only has the 3.5TT. The Tundra/Sequoia hybrid is exclusive to NA.
I would love to see the Sequoia with the 1794 interior. That saddle tan leather in the Tundra is gorgeous! Give it to us in an SUV!
Beautiful vehicle but I’m just not crazy about that third row. I feel Toyota went back in time lifting that seat up rather than making a hiding fold third row. Having a Great Dane in the back will be impossible.
They did go back in time; it's the solid rear axle that causes this, decreases interior space, among other things

like the solid rear axel just wish the TRD pro had a 3rd row delate for us off roaders car camper s who have no need or want a 3rd row we want cargo space, the folded down 3rd row takes up to much cargo space

As mentioned by someone below, please let us know if the front air dam removal shown in the video is part of TRD off-road package? That would be great since the air dam really limit it’s off road capability and is ugly

All I can say is I wish Toyota had kept the 5.7L V8 and gave it the 10 speed transmission. No way will a high strung V6 have the reliability factor of the V8. Does Toyota really think that the Buyer handing over $80K-$128K is concerned about MPG. Just saying.

Dealerships are over pricing this suv. Saw a used platinum for $106k. Sadly Toyota lost my loyalty. The Chevy Tahoe is about $20k cheaper. Chevy third row is also significantly more spacious and seat folds flat.

Lack of rearseat space and cargo space is a DEAL BREAKER. That plus the insane price tag of some of these and it makes the Diesel Suburban a no Brainer if you have a large family and a lot of stuff to haul. Plus that engine can get upwards of 30mpg. Toyota needs to add a Long version of this with a bigger hybrid battery to make up for that lackluster MPG and terrible rear cargo space. Beautiful SUV and better looking than the competition in my honest opinion.

The most disappointing thing about this car is how the 2 back rowseats don't fold flat. I'm aware its about the battery under there.

Is 70k worth it? Without wood trim, normally, I'm a fan of Toyota but it doesn't appear to be impressive compared to the Tahoe.
