The history of the House's owner Barron Hilton was a really pleasant change to your videos. I enjoyed that history for context very much. At least to me this seemed much more human history than in past videos... Paul R Williams did some houses here in Palm Springs so I'm glad you included his history in the midst of segregation. It's worth the telling.
Paul Williams was a prolific architect in California. One of his masterpieces is the Arrowhead Springs Hotel about San Bernardino. Built in 1939, it is thankfully still standing.
One of my favorite books, "Be My Guest," by Conrad Hilton. When he was alive, we didn't even have 50 states yet & he rode a horse everywhere. A real stand-up guy. I'm still impressed with your ability to get interior & exterior photos. Thanks, Ken!
Extra thumbs-up, Ken! This is one of your most enjoyable videos. It was good to learn about Mr. Hilton doing so much with his wealth and opportunities and to learn about architect Paul Walker Jr., giving context to and added appreciation for the house. I hope you will make a video about Mr. Williams. I'm a big fan of those 1930's and 40's Hollywood houses with their white-painted brick and stone and with that French style and I LOVE this house! I would be happy to live in the Hilton house. There may not be enough photos and documentation for a whole video, but I've become curious about the house in which Jean Harlow lived for a time and that was called "the whitest house in the world" or something like that. I've seen some 1930's pictures from Architectrual Digest and it was very nice on the inside. The house is still standing and apparently much altered and is surrounded by trees and foliage that make it invisible from the street.
Paul R. Williams was an exceptionally talented architect, adept at classical and traditional styles. His daughter would later join his firm as an interior designer. He even invented his own style, the "Hollywood Regency".
Ken, I'm back again with another comment! The information about hotels made me think of a novel you and your viewers might enjoy. It's "Hotel" (1965) by Arthur Hailey who also wrote the 1968 novel "Airport". "Hotel" is a fascinating book about the people working at the Hotel St. Gregory and gives lots of information about how such an establishment worked in those days. I wonder if any of the book is inspired by the Hilton family and their hotels. The movie 1967 version of "Hotel" stars Rod Taylor along with supporting roles by Karl Malden, Merele Oberon and Melvyn Douglas.
I enjoyed the video, too bad he didn't hold on to the Chargers though. The money get got is worth around 100 million today, but the Chargers are worth almost 6 billion.
Thr previous viewer was right Very disappointing OK the houses SO WHAT WHAT about he and his sister Franchesca WE knew the family very very well from Dallas to california It's a GREAT IDEA BUT DO SOMETHING WITH SOME RELY INTERESTING FACTS YOU KNOW YOU CAN
Paris Hilton’s little brother, Barron, has had me blocked on Snapchat since a little before the pandemic- huge misunderstanding! I was drunk and trying to flirt with what I thought was a homely lonely millionaire, I didn’t know he was engaged the whole time… but anyways great home, too bad the family had to sell it.
If you don’t like knowing more about the people that owned and built these homes, then you clearly haven’t been watching his channel for very long. Sorry but he gives backgrounds and stories on every homeowner in each of his episodes. If you don’t like the hiltons that’s your opinion but this video was not a disappointment, it’s high quality and on par with the rest of his videos.

I enjoyed hearing about his life. I hadn't known any of that. Remarkable life.
Would enjoy hearing more about Paul Williams

The first African American in the AIA as well!

The interior was traditionally beautiful. The formal dining room was particularly stunning 😍
Agreed. That dining room was absolutely perfect.

Thank you Ken. As always, beautifully presented. 🙏☺️
I use to live/work on Barron Hilton's private mega yacht. He was a very polite boss. Very kind and friendly. And very generous.
Wish I could've seen more of the mansion and Mr. Williams work !
I love the music room
Interesting and enjoyable to watch
Wow this Baron accomplished a lot
AWESOME AWESOME VIDEO THANK YOU 😊
LOVED the Informative video👍👍👍✅✅✅
Even my husband, who thinks he knows all about football, didn't know this
First of all yeah that’s really hot 😂 I’ve been so obsessed with this home ever since I saw it on the simple life. Thanks for this wonderful video
Would love to hear more about Paul Williams
Very nice capsule biography. Not really about the mansion, but that's fine. I know a guy who met Paris at a gas station. He said she was very nice.
One year younger than mama ... & a HELLUVA LOT More CLASS.
This is America baby! 😊
Thank you for the video!

@@andrewbrendan1579 I haven’t read that one yet, it sounds interesting. Thanks for the recommendation!
Thank you.
You should have linked the video for "Magic" by The Cars!
I believe this was the home that was used in the TV series The Colbys
I enjoyed the video, too bad he didn't hold on to the Chargers though.

Jay was the uncle of William Paley..
it's ok
Note the absence of corinthian columns
... as if Hilton favored the doric!
The house is beautiful…didnt know P. Williams designed the house….it seems williams had a good name among the celebrity elite back in those days….
THATS HOT 🔥
It's nice but not hot lol
I am now at 4:00 minute of 7:18 and it's still not about the house. Don't get this video.
Thr previous viewer was right

This episode was a disappointment. I watch to see houses, not to get an extended education on the Hilton family.
Ok Karen.
I’m sure he’ll be crying himself to sleep 😴 tonight. 😆😆😆

The two responses are hilarious. They could’ve just titled it correctly. You two fell for clickbait. No need to lash out
I saw beautiful pictures of the home.
The Frank Sinatra one was the same!
