What I want to know is whyyyyy? Especially "the Oprah" asking for money recently from the fires that other people had to vacate losing their homes. I wonder if these rich people with mansions and islands would even know if they have space being occupied, not even realizing they had a bathroom in their hundred garages or a 2 story room to keep a barbell in? If some homeless people were to sneak in to try and stay warm, occasionally raiding the frig, would they know? When I walk into my living room that my cat lounges around in,I see a little dust say "heck no" turning on my heel and jumping in my bed 🤷.ok I've wasted enough time not paying attention to this.see ya! Kirk out! Oh ps how much does robot voice get narrating for actual people?...😁

@@Autocreatorz I’m not saying they don’t, but the good they could to here in the US and abroad with what they spend on these huge audacious houses and the furnishings could supply, for example, fresh water supplies to thousands of people or more. Many of these same stars will go on about climate change yet have homes gobbling up electricity that comes from fossil fuels. They have fancy cars that use fossil fuels and emit carbon into the atmosphere.
It’s all for show and for their own ego, besides being hypocritical. I’m not saying they shouldn’t have lovely, luxurious homes. They have the money so they can spend it how they want. I just think the over the top houses show the character of those who own them.

I find this so depressing. There are so many ways to help people with housing, medical help, helping survivors of horrid abuse or accidents, helping to get families on their feet to be able to work to take care of their loved ones, help rebuild homes of victims of fire or war or other calamities, help save animals from abuse and neglect, help ptsd victims get a trained support dog, help drug addicts to get therapy and get off the streets, and on and on and on……It’s unfathomable the good that just one of these people could do for the world. Our society has a twisted sense of idolatry. I’m just dumbfounded by the insanity of it all.

I worked for a very large alarm company (which I will not name). There was a house in Colorado that we dubbed "The Castle". When looking at the list of sensors on the alarm screen it was blocked into multiple areas, such as "The Tower", the "play wing". The lady of the house would lose the children and arm the whole complex so the alarm would go off and she could find them. We were constantly calling asking for the pass code and she would sheepishly give it and say she had lost the children again. Lol.

    Couldn't finish this video.
Had an overwhelming feeling of sadness and loneliness watching.
These homes are sterile, cold, and down right ugly.
No wonder so many wealthy people are depressed.
These homes aren't welcoming, warm, and definitely not homey.
I think of how children must feel living in homes that look like an institution or a museum.
I wouldn't trade my small cozy homey house for any of the houses I watched before commenting and stopping the video.
Wouldn't ever tell anyone what to do with money they've earned but, a small nice home on a big piece of property would be so much better for their mind and soul.
Help unfortunate people start an organization to help animals, people.....
The feeling would be a feeling no amount of money could buy.

You don’t no how much that they give away and what they do with their money . Not everyone has to brag how much money they give away to charity. Ts funny if any of theses people fell on hard times . How many and who would come up to their side to help them out. The more you have the more common people want to see you fall on your face. I always like when people say you can afford it you wont miss it. These are just greedy people trying to get the money that others worked for and not wanting to do the work their self.

    • @andrewmiller4885
      @andrewmiller4885 11 месяцев назад

@@gilberthill9617 If you're a kind and charitable human being the help you give to others comes out mate. Others talk about it . If you're not hearing about someone's good deeds from somewhere, its highly likely they have never given a dime away to anybody or for anything.
Truly humble and grateful people who have been fortunate in life are the sort of people that help other human beings even the ones they don't even know sometimes.
Unfortunately, most wealthy people, particularly celebrities are neither humble nor grateful, they are full of themselves, and most businessmen who have been enormously successful didn't get there being Mr Nice Guy in business.
The people whose good deeds and giving heart that are NEVER known or made public a very very few and far between on this planet man.
Are you assuming that most give but don't brag, that isn't true. Most do NOT give
In any case the point of this video was to show the sheer monolithic size of these properties. They don't look like homes, many of them look more like resorts or complexes, and compounds. Whether their owners give or not is irrelevant. It's to demonstrate the insane ostentatious lifestyles of the rich and famous. As one commentator said here nobody needs 25 bedrooms and 20 bathrooms, with literally dozens of living rooms, living areas, and recreational areas everywhere. There are rooms in these homes that the owners never enter into for weeks and weeks.....and weeks . They are just there on display gathering dust and cobwebs. It truly is an utter waste. However, it is their money to do with as they please and rightly so. They can just burn it if that takes their fancy too.
let me conclude by saying none of this has anything to do with "greedy people trying to get the money that others have worked for" as you put it . It has everything to do with just sheer utter waste of financial resources because that's what houses of that magnitude and monstrous size are. They are never fully utilised its that simple. They are just TOO big, but it's their money to waste, if they don't mind that. They earned it and they can do as the please with it, whether others find it rational or not.

People that have this level of wealth rarely have only one or two homes. Instead, they tend to have homes and penthouses and estates across the world and rarely spend much time at any one property. Although a $60 million or $120 million dollar property is unimaginable for most people, those who have $2.5 billion dollars can drop that kind of money on multiple properties with no issue at all. And when they become bored, which is pretty much all of the time, they sell a property and purchase another somewhere else. It's how they pass their time since they are doing very little on Earth that has any longlasting value or benefit to humanity..... and are essentially living empty lives.

Felt like the Clampet's being let through the gate! We spent several weekends there, and trust me, it was really easy to get used to! I noted the primary bathtub looked bigger than my kitchen. $133 million estate... IN KENYA. Ms. Campbell could have nearly solved poverty in Kenya for that. That's just a huge insult to the country, the whole continent for that matter. These are all ridiculous, but that one just takes the cake. And they were all done in bad taste. Not to mention they weren't even showing the real houses.

""Throwing money at buildings." This idea always cracks me up. These buildings represent excellent work by many, many people. People are getting paid!!! Think about the designers, the carpenters and all those who earn a living working in this market!!! I bet the gardeners appreciate it being there!!! and they get paid and support families. How many do you think it takes to care for these "buildings?"

Few times ,I able to live to a big house like a villa from one of our rich relatives, was not really good for me. Ashton and Mila told a judge that he shouldn't punish Danny Masterson for rape, because they think he is a nice guy! Only after they were called out on that, did they issue a bizarrely out of touch "explanation". Stating merely that they didn't mean to hurt the victims by requesting zero punishment. When you dig further, you see tape of Ashton bragging about being overly sexual with Mila when she was 14, at DANNY MASTERSTON'S SUGGESTION. I feel bad for her, she was groomed from a young age. But also, I feel like there might be something wrong with how Ashton deals with women. He went after a woman old enough to be his mother, and then one young enough to be his niece. The two of them are Poison.

If yr home alone the personal vibe is feelings of being small separate alone & waiting. Theres no real personal homey feeling of comfort personal warmth the size of the home absorbes it. With all that room you would hardley see each other i bet they use their📱to talk to each other when their home. With all that room im sure theres a much smaller part they use regularly to stay together like a normal home & family. The rest of the place is to impress others & display their wealth & everything is desinger. Thats why people that own huge homes that feel cold hallow & echo hold so many parties its to fill the void of feeling small & alone. Dont envy rich people things are not as they appear. 👁👁

Love your temperature blanket. The pattern is beautiful. Excited to see your new temperature blanket. I started one in September and crocheted January and February non stop in a few weeks. Then crocheted a few dozen pumpkins it was fun to give them out to family, friends, and clients. I had a half a dozen by Monday mornings, after crocheting, stuffing them, crocheting a tan stem, and green leaf. So fun to make.
Today, I was finishing up a twelve point star throw for my daughter. She picked it out the video a couple of months ago. It waves around, and half way crocheting, it seemed like ten points would let the throw lay flat. Maybe the hook size was too big. Maybe the center needed another row, before starting the points. The center is ivory, the two row stripes are soft pink, lavender, ivory,, rusty orange, morning blue sky, ivory, gold, deep purple, ivory, mint green, and the final color and boarder is three rows of soft pink. Some how it's almost flat. The little ripple looks nice. Tucking in loose ends is a chore and when it all done, makes it all worth the time.
Cheers to the upcoming New Year.

Some of the clips in this video are used in another RUclips video (on a different channel) about abandoned mansions that have no people or places in common with the ones in this video, which proves that not all of these photos/clips come from the houses the video maker claims they were from, and even if they were, not necessarily when the current owner lived in it.

The voice of this video is like reading a real estate advert, would be entertaining to see it on the empty mansions videos. Good tax decision to donate the proceeds on a real estate loss. Still, interesting buildings and more important than what they buy it for is what they are able to sell it for. As we know it does not always go as planned.

Ashton and Mila appropriately called their house Coocoo farm 👍🏻I cannot believe the bs these people come up with! Silver chairs for the bathroom from India 😂 the silver would have had to be mined the number of trees that would have had to be killed and processed the metal windows frames!!! More mining the amount of steel and concrete . What a joke. If they were serious they’d be living in a yurt!

I always wonder how do they manage to keep these things warm during winter. Maybe they are in places that do not have winters? Or only used during summer? Duno, boggles my mind.

Why are you making a useless point? I do not know of anyone who would argue that these wealthy individuals do not have the right to do as they please with their wealth. The issue is, should they be doing what they are doing with their wealth? That's the issue. It's a moral issue. If you lack any moral compass, I do not expect you or them to understand.

Not much one can say. The "buildings" speak for themselves. They are built for show and they achieve that very well. Whether one likes the style or not, they are examples of spectacular excess, architectural flights of fancy and technological innovation. If one finds pleasure by living in their own resort spa -have at it. I enjoyed having a14,000 sq ft home for 10 years in Glendale CA. Built in 1925 I added a two story addition in 2000. Though nothing on this level of extravagance I had a library, movie theatre, ballroom, spa etc. Sooner or later, unless you're entertaining guests on a scale of 50-150, you find yourself living in the bedroom suite, kitchen/breakfast room and pool area. Having outlived FOUR sets of best friends and treasuring my fifth I live in a simpler way that is equally rich in meaning (for me) .XoXo

Although it is certainly their right to spend their money as they please, it would seem that such individuals lack a moral compass altogether and are completely self-absorbed narcissists completely disconnected from the suffering of others. Not exactly anything to be proud of.

I don't think these houses are homes, they are so big it would enforces how lovely you would be, unless you have a party every night with acquaintances, and the rooms are not to live in you would be scared to use them!

To an extent these places are their shelter, their safe place, their own little world. They cannot easily go out, and about like regular folk.
I agree with the livability of most of these structures. To me they're not inviting.
I really liked the Ashton Mila home, and the older, historic places tho.I think I could live at Ellen's The Villa.

The Eccelstone mansion was actually Tory Spelling's family home. Built by Aaron and Candy Spelling and known as "Candyland". Candy sold it to Eccelstone for $85M and Eccelstone sold it for nearly $120M eight years later in 2019. Nice little return on their investment I'd say.

Carbon footprints. The illite Hollywood crowd will be the first to back extra taxes on every mile you travel, the water you use, the size home you have. Cause they can afford it. They will condemn you tho for only being able to afford a gas car, probably a used one at that. I can't recycle anymore than I have in my life time. Small home on one acre, only could afford used car my entire life time, used appliances, and the one or two I bought new are taken care of, an I've had for nearly fifty years. To say I can't afford not one dollar in more tax,is a fact! As in reality, how is money going to clean the air, create more water, lower Temps. It won't.
