And now Ganon shall live underwater forever with Fi constantly reminding him that his batteries are low.
The Happy Mask Salesman then says to Ganon "You've suffered a terrible fate haven't you?"
awesomekid120 Then BEN DROWNED and Weege stay in Old Hyrule.
OH MY FACKING GOD THANK YOU
Wonder what the Ganon's up to confirmed
*MASTER, YOUR BATTERIES ARE RUNNING LOW.*
20:55 such a sad picture. Link is being forced to the surface while the king accepts his fate to drown with the kingdom and what's left of Ganon, whose petrified corpse holds the master sword in the background.
Daphnes: That land will not be Hyrule.
Tetra: *establishes New Hyrule*
This is still one of my favorite endings to any game, this incarnation of Link went from simple island dweller to savior of the world and the ending I feel really reflects how far he has come
11:35 The only moment when you actually feel bad for Ganondorf and what he wanted before consumed with power. That face at 11:50 and how he held back on killing Link and Zelda kinda says it all.
Showgingah how did he hold back? He proceeded to push her to the ground and attempted to kill both. I'm curious what u mean
ganon in this game is SUPER interesting as that he is older and wiser than he was in Ocarina. Time has passed by him and he knows for a fact he will continue his fate with destroying the land and taking it for his own. He has a slight moment here of self reflection but understands its futile. He will continue with his acts of terror till he is dead.
well he is the reincarnation of the demon king so he is kind of destined to keep doing this with that curse and what not
Jonathan, First he didn't kill Zelda, then he refrained from killing Link when he wanted the piece of the triforce from him, even told him he would not kill him. Then towards the end he put away his sword when attacking Zelda and hit her with his bare hand instead.
When he made the reference about the moon my first thought was Majoras mask
This was the first Zelda game I played all the way through. I feel so fortunate.
I'm crying tears of joy right now THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST ZELDA GAMES EVER AND ONE OF THE BEST GAMES EVER
While Link was busy waving to the pirates, his swim stamina ran out and he drowned.
And so it was that the bloodline of the hero of legend died out, giving rise to the destruction of the lands wrought by Ganon's eventual return.
Good point, I really should have said Hero of Winds. I was thinking Wind Waker Link might be the beginning of a new bloodline, if he doesn't drown in the ending cutscene.
Well, when you drown you just respawn.
Does that mean WW Link is a gamer?
Technically, there is no bloodline of Links. Demise only cursed people with the *spirit* of the hero to be tormented by his incarnation, Ganondorf. The goddess's descendants, meanwhile, were cursed.
@@randomclouds4404 yes, precisely
Every person in windwaker had the best faces in my opinion.
They are the faces of evil!
ꀸꍟꍏꀸ JustCharr IKR. Especially Link
And the kid who always snort
Yes I agree
One of the greatest endings in Videogame History.
I agree it’s perfect for one of the best Zelda’s
But another great ending is in Xenoblade Chronicles
+Caden Gaticam I still haven't finished Xenoblade Chronicles. I guess it's about time to fire up my Wii again.
Burt Macklin
You should definitely finish it
+Caden Gaticam I'm at Agniratha. So how long would you say I have to go until the end?
Burt Macklin
Probably a few hours
Who else played Wind Waker on GameCube before the HD Version came out??
+Bubblegumsh1 I did.
i did. sadly i never finished it...
+Bubblegumsh1 I finished it today on Gamecube. I don't plan on ever buying it for Wii U honestly.
+Bubblegumsh1 I did! Took me forever to figure out to go towards the tornado/whirlpool.
I played it since I was like 3
This is the happiest ending for Ganondorf. The hatred of Demise ceases to possess him right before he dies. The cycle has finally ended.
(He probably welcomed his death.)
@Raven Link probably cause the timeline of zelda diverges to tell different interpretations. for all intents and purposes of this story given this was before the demise story was thought up in skyward sword, Ganon was free from his curse of reincarnating as an embodiment of hatred as that was the point of wind waker. to serve as a final closing not just what ocarina of time started but to close out an era of zelda as link and tetra/zelda were free from their fates tying them to ganon as they go into the new world to find a new land and show the world that hope can always be found and carried.
@@Fureiji88 And I think it makes perfect sense as the next evil being they fight is Bellum, and then Malladus. Ganon was probably set free and the Gerudo went extinct. I want to think it was like that...
Not to mention, the Master Sword never came back. It was just the Phantom and Lokomo Sword that came in the next titles.
This is still my favorite storyline in the series and by far the best ending. I loved Ganon's character and how, especially if you played Ocarina, you may not have agreed with his plan, you understood WHY he was doing what he was doing. I loved how Ganon references when he, the hero of time and princess Zelda were atop his tower all those years ago, and how he ended up right back at the same spot again with the same two people (in Spirit). I love the bitter sweet ending. It's so epic.
I have a feeling breath of the wild is going to be similar in storytelling. Can't wait!
who noticed the king of red lions doesn't have pupils after he dies
Maaaan i never noticed this :O :´(
Spoil alert
Im a stature
Alejandro Rodriguez if you don’t want spoilers, you really shouldn’t be here, should you?
I saw that when I beat the game.
the most beautiful thing i have ever seen: medli leaning up against a door with lil makar standing next to her
Link straight up stabbed Ganondorf in the head
f u
Just like in ocarina of time
Red Rambo
AND HE WILL BE WITH FI FOREVER
I wonder how he got his crystal back
The best ending and the best final boss of the series by far. But I love the one from Majora's Mask, Skyward Sword and A Link Between Worlds too.
+Major Chuzy I've always like this ending too :)
@@packattack04082 Rly? I did not like the boss fight cause it felt anticlimatic when u could actually control link
Goddamn King of Hyrule. Giving me dem feels with such a sorrow and regretful emotion.
that sword... almost hit zelda's head
Link yep lulky her that she survied
Link wru
link yeah but she some how did not die XD
I love you link
Is a very history of the game i lovely for gamecube
This game feels more like One Piece than any One Piece game.
Holy shit indeed :O
One piece sucks
Man I never thought about that
You are right
alith mm yeah that’s why it’s the most sold manga of all time
Lai Guanlin's cute little smile tho tbh beating Dragonball isn’t quite a feat that manga was just as bad and overhyped as one piece
I will always be nostalgic by listening the credits music... I love so much how Link stabs Ganondorf's head !
Wow... Gory much?
I mean, Ganondorf was stabbed in the head before in OOT when Link slashed him several times before stabbing, so one could argue it was a more brutal finish in that game. However, I feel this game had a more brutal impact as you felt it. Link's falling momentum and weight, being a direct hit on the skull, and, most importantly, the sound effects. You can also count the blade remaining jammed into Ganondorf's skull instead of being pulled out. That and being turned to stone. Damn, even without blood and screams, it sure is a brutal death scene.
then they set sail to find the legendary treasure One Piece
13:44
The King of Hyrule is such a troll XD
The musical theme of this ending makes me cry so loud on the inside.
In the ending, when Tetra and Link are about to set sail, in the original ending, Link had the Hero's Sword and Mirror Shield, but in the HD version, both are not on his back like in the original ending. Very Strange, right?
They probably changed it because it looked better for cinematic purposes.
Pretty sure that's because Phantom Hourglass takes place immediately after this game, and Link doesn't start with a sword or shield there.
Hi Poochy
It's because when he parried the attack, he chucked away his mirror shield and it was left behind.
already finished tears of the Kingdom, but I always comeback to this ending, is just perfect
And so, Phantom Hourglass begins.
The chills when the gong starts ringing and Aryll waves.
I tear up every time Arryl runs to the end of the dock as her Big Brother savior’s Hero’s Journey begins anew. Link came all this way to save his sister and we never get to see them make physical contact! At least all their facial gestures and interactions are cute af.
Such an epic laugh he has.
You are a fun villain Gerudo King.
As for you Tetra, you look way better as Zelda; long hair, wearing a dress, etc.
As a kid I wondered why Link left Outset in the scene after the credits. But I get it now. There's a whole world to explore, and an ocean to chart. And now that Link's had a taste of it adventure he's heading off with Tetra to explore new lands.
In my head I like to think that Phantom Hourglass is just one of many adventures he had with Tetra.
Link and Tetra indeed find a new continent several months after Phantom Hourglass. This new continent is named *New Hyrule* and it is the primary setting for Spirit Tracks, which takes place one century after Phantom Hourglass.
14:37 The laugh of a broken man... xD
Yes I feel so sorry for ganondorf he was possessed by demise while actually only trying to save his impoverished dying family. That last gargled laugh as he died with his head impaled with the sword. He seemed almost... Happy... It's like he could finally die and leav behind all of his agony his death was a mercy in any ways he could finally be free from demises hatred. And the the king drowns himself that made Me want to cry he wanted to die with hyrule.
Zelda games all have their own darkness ocarina of time was brutal and gory majoras mask was disturbing as fuck wind waked was very sad and twilight princess was realistic looking and frightening.
+Zachary Kenniston It is rather fascinating. Ganondorf only did what he did because of Demise's hatred being reincarnated within him. If it weren't for that, he probably wouldn't have done ANYTHING evil.
That would be beacuse of demise and beacuse a old fart that calls himself a king stole the triforce from me when i was about to touch it all i wanted was a new place for the gerudo but no the hyrule king took it away from me
This scene alone shows the three points that make this Ganon the most interesting iteration so far are, the humane components of his evil:
1. Envy, such a simple thing, desiring something due to a trauma.
2. Pragmatism, in that admission of vulnerability he is still commited to his goal but doesn't seek unnecesary deaths.
3. Insanity, that last moment of classic bloodlust, but this time is the product of utter despair.
Toon link's very cute it's cuteness is over 9000 even for a fighter
I love how the game starts to play the triumphant music, then it goes all sinister when he changes form
The tears.. they just wont stop!!
that last little ending theme is just perfect.
Had to come here to figure out how to beat him😅. Very tricky epsecially the first one. I'd love to see them as a couple. Lesson is to remember everything you learned and did😉
One of the best legend of Zelda games. I remember looking for all the triforce shards then finding all of them going through the 2 temples I think, then breaking the barrier going to fight ganondorf then seeing this great ending. It gave me tears rewatching this knowing most of us will forget this game and the legend of Zelda series will be forever apart of my childhood.
holy shit the ending hit the feelings so hard
That Post-credits scene, so fucking epic!
-Executive Producer-
Satoru Iwata
Rest in Peace you amazing man.
I hope you will be happy in heaven.
14:50 sounds like my grandpa when i tell him the oldest joke in the face of the universe!
( laughs like ganondorf) one of the funniest comments i've ever seen in my life , thx for that xD !
Lol
Thanks for being so patient with me and my family
man, i remember having such horrible time hitting the tail of the snake puppet it was so frustrating.
Carlos Ayala same, your not the only one
Yeah, and when i play it the 6th time, growned up,i kill it in just 4 arrows!,i just missed one XD
I love the scene after the credits with the KoRL eyes not having pupils showing the king is no longer possessing it.
Her smile making link smile she definitely does make a good pirate such a cute adorable ending to the game.
Thank you so much your walkthroughs really helped me throughout the game. If it wasn't for you I would still be at Forest Haven.
Dark Wafers Thanks for the message! I'm glad to have helped :)
Me too bro
Link has like a 10ft verticle, he should be in the NBA or something.
And so... Phantom Hourglass begins...
+Oka Ruto Hi Oka.
I started to play Phantom Hourglass 100% and now I completed it. Next, Spirit Tracks takes 100 years of Phantom Hourglass. I 100% the game as well.
22:55 man the fuckin music of this game, especially the duets...
+jgallag90 I'd argue that Windwaker has possibly the greatest sound design of any LoZ game.
the music that plays at dragon roost island is my favorite
+TheRepty818 I think OoT has better
Ho Milz I'm the most nostalgic for Ocarina of Time.
But objectively I still think Windwaker takes it. It has so many impressive songs. And the different forms of fight music. Or when you have to volley the dark energy from shadow gannon the way the music follows the fight is just beautiful.
But at the end of the day that's just my personal opinion. Ocarina is fantastic too.
+TheRepty818 ok in My opinion OoT is the best game ever
Grandma will be so happy that she got her children back! ;)
I remember beating this game for the first time about 15 years ago.
Its really been that long huh?
i beat this whole game when i was like 6 i randomly got a tiktok from the game and it unlocked so many memories it’s unbelievable how long and ago this was
Toon link is best link
Darth Vader
I agree
Childeater I want a toon link. He is so cyut
He is adorable too.
Agree he is the one with more personality
A very powerful ending, especially if you went in with nostalgia for OoT.
First time seeing the ending of this game in about 15 years. Now I would want my children to experience the masterpiece which is Legend of Zelda.
That moment when link just finishes ganondorf with the master sword in his skull was probably the best part of the fight
windwaker art amazing
I remember how sad this ending made me. This game meant everything to be back when i played it ;/
Best game of all time, right here!
This is the best zelda 's game
I agree :3
Toon link sucks. Thanks a lot super smash Bros! I hate you! 😡
jeff choi hes op in super smash bros if you know how to use him like me
Adrifspy041 Adrift Am I famous?
out-of-date opinion. botw wasn’t out yet.
This game might have the best graphics of all time.
Eh let's not get carried away, maybe the best CEL-shaded graphics but not genuine graphics, as much as this game looks awesome as hell.
I love Zelda but sorry no, this game doesnt have the best graphics of all time lmao
Guide sounds EPIC... very much thanks for your efforts and great work. Godspeed
Zelda: breath of the wild! Im ready for u now
omg yes
COMPLETLY WORTH THE MONEY AND THE DLC!
This game out of them all aged the best.
Anyone who says that video games aren’t art is very wrong. This is absolutely beautiful
T-T
the ending it's SAD
yet it's beautiful !!!!!
Link as he is on the rope is just like "oh fuck u Gannon, now I have to climb this long ass rope, while you can fly, WE ARE NOT ALL FUCKING HALF BIRD OR SOME SHIT LIKE THAT!"
Sorry if this was a spoiler. It never crossed my mind. I usually just pick a random picture from the video and make it my thumbnail. I didn't even start using my own thumbnails until recently. I'll try and keep this in mind going forward.
Anyone else tear up during the credits?
Am I like the only one who cries at the end?? XD
no you're not:)
Yeah
*SPOILERS! WATCH VIDEO BEFORE READING!*
Yeah, I cried when the King drowned Hyrule and went down with it.
This could've been 50 Shades Of Gannon
What>?
It really was a bittersweet ending. I felt really sad when Link almost died.
That feeling when Zelda misses Ganondorf in phase 1 and ends up shooting You instead...
The credits is the only game I actually didn’t skip only because the sound track this is by far my absolute favourite loz ever ❤️
you are a god at this, what thing in your body makes you brave to not die in the legend of zelda games
Lol I love how Toon Link swings his body while climbing. ROFL
LMAO at 11:54 Link is all: Nigga what da fuck u sayin? Can we fight now??
that sucks
and again it dust
that sucks
and again it dust
The ending of this game gave me legit tears when I played it last. I remember I was legit crying all day.
that fucking ending after the credits.. i cried when link's sister wave her hands, such a rewarding ending :')
driving your sword through his skull is hands down one of the most chilling ways to kill a final boss so. so epic
How do you have a million subs and only get thousands of views? People are dumb. You're great, do more Zelda.
It really surprises me than I've never seen anyone mention the fact that the king of hyrule can actually be heard speaking hylian ovo
Grandma WHAT HAPPEN TO GRANDMA!!!!!!????????????
same thing I was thinking. Where'd she frikkin go?
Plot Twist:She passed away.
Jose Villalobos what about the sister?
Watch till the end of the credits, you will see the grandma and aryll waving to link
Dawson got the swift sail
11:45 And Datz The Face Link Makes When He Eats A Vegetable...
As this is the end of one of the Zelda timelines, I think it's a perfect way to have it finish. Not everything is happy - Hyrule is still gone, and the countless number of people who died in the flooding are still dead - but the cycle of the Triforce has ended. No more heroes of time, no more Ganondorfs. Nothing but the future, whatever it brings.
'Course, now we only have two timelines - the one where OoT's link stayed a child (and apparently died in Majora's Mask?), and the one where Link... uh, dies to Ganondorf.
Wow, who would have guessed that the world where Link wasn't around to stop Ganondorf's reign of terror would be the one with the good ending?
Doctor Drew There are actually a few more games in this timeline
Doctor Drew
No in the timeline there is also phantom hourglass and spirit tracks
What are you talking about? Spirit Tracks (from my knowledge) is officially the last game in the Adult timeline.
I think he means it's the conclusion of the timeline with regards to Demise's curse. If you follow the lore from Skyward Sword all the way to Wind Waker, it's one hell of a story. The OP is saying the "cycle without end" cursed on the holders of the triforce finally ENDS here.
The story continues on after this, of course. But as far as the main story goes, it ends with Ganon's death and the destruction of Hyrule.
The hero of winds and Tetra went on to establish "New Hyrule", but that's the beginning of a new kingdom. So bittersweet.
Doctor Drew
No it's not the end of this timeline is spirit tracks
This was the only Zelda game where I felt bad for killing Ganon/Ganondorf. His story and desires seem very relatable, and he doesn't even want to kill anyone.
R.I.P. Daphnes
He was a ghost, anyway...
Makatrull Yeah, but still...
Stygtality
He was?
i love the credits in this game
The legend say's Link and Tetra where still waving
29:19 I cried the epic background music and link staring into the horizon FUCKING EPIC!!!!!!!!
i just finished the gamecube ver. (cos i only have a wii :( ) and omg im crying. the ending in the wii u ver. is so beautiful.
I love Legend of Zelda the games are cool
I loved this game. I played it when i was younger, so it almost always annoyed the shit outa me, but i still loved it. Great game. A little more child-oriented in some aspects. At the end all i thought was, "How the fuck can he wave when he was almost chopped in half while fighting Ganon? Oh well." Loved the game! Made my childhood on gamecube!
This looks really fun. The switch is my first Nintendo console and I hope we get some ports in the near future
I got so happy when I seen medli and Makar on the ship
Dude... What a beautiful game in all forms. Yesterday I finished the original GameCube version and even there it looked precious. Sadly HD version of Twilight Princess has not the half of the quality of WWHD.
i have a gamecube and i love to play it everyday its so fun it gets harder everyday and i love every boss fight!!
The end of this so beautiful
good job your good at this game
In my opinion the best ending to one of the best villains in gaming
