I just found your channel. I watched a few videos. What I have found/figured out about a rifle build. Environment first off. A 14.5 to 16" are your best options. Using a 77 grain green tip. Optics, an ACOP is a good general purpose, I guess you cqn put a red dot on it. AimPoint makes a good cheater LOVP that you don't really need to use the red dot. I thought I liked quad rails, I don't. This was before I found out about cover and such. I do like M lok rails. To each their own. Bells and whisles, lasers, lights, bipods, triggers, slings. Do I add some kind of iron sights? Off set? PMags over metal, do I add those things on the end of my mags, call them grips. For a first-time buyer. Go with a 14.5 or 16" barrel with a Sure fire war comp, get the can as well. An ACOG 4 power or an AIM Point 1x6 LOPV. Just make sure you find the right one. They make 4 or 6 different types/styles. As for the rest, how deep is your pocket. Magpul makes a lot of good accessories so does 100 concepts. Most of all, ask yourself this. Do you buold it, have it built or buy off the shelf? Palmetto arms has some great deals. I like the oil bottle in the grip. All my rifles have it. And milspec buffer tubes. I think I have Timber Creek M Lok rails, never had a problem with them. I do use the Magpul rail covers. Gotta look cool while standing around the range. If you have any questions, just ask.
