    May I ask for the explanation of area the right-hand side of 10 in a chi-square distribution with one degree of freedom is equal to 0.0016 how did you get it.

      I used a software (R).
      1-pchisq(10,1)
      Have a look at this video that explains how:

    what would be the appropriate test to compare (pre-post comparison) the 2 categorical (3 by 4) dependent variables

      Check if the Cochran's Q test fit your problem. It is the corresponding test when you have more than 2 treatments.

    According to the results would the significance mean that drug B is less effective than drug A bc more people respond to it ?

    • @tilestats
      @tilestats  3 года назад +1

      I would say that drug B is more effective to use in the population because more people respond to it.

    Hi! How did you get the 0.0016? I can't seem to get it.

    • @tilestats
      @tilestats  2 года назад +1

      Did you use a chi-square distribution with one degree of freedom?
      Here is a more exact value 0.001565402 if my rounding has confused you.

      @@tilestats Kinda new to chi-square distribution graph im looking for it in the chi square distribution table

      You need a software, such as R, to compute the p-value. If you use a table, the critical value is 3.84 with 1 degree of freedom and a significance level of 0.05. Since 10 is bigger than 3.84, you reject the null hypothesis.
