i think when we are using categorical variable, in hypothesis building we do not use the term relationship we use association, and when we are using quantitative variable we use relationship.
@@datatab Why would anyone use a complicated system like python to solve a simple Chi Square? This is simple basic math that could be done easily by hand or in any spreadsheet. Python is a complex programming language -- waay overkill for such a simple activity.
Thank you for the video. I have tried to use your same easy-to-follow 'style' in my book 'From Data to Insights: A Beginner's Guide to Cross-Tabulation Analysis' which will be published in July (2024) with Routledge. Perhaps it might interest you. Regards.
Great minds think alike, @nikeforo2612. I also used this same easy-to-follow example in my advanced statistics textbook "Regression Analysis and Data Analytics" to be published by HPL Publications in January, 2025. Thanks Datatab!
.05 is the most commonly used significance value. It is associated with a 95% confidence level (1-.95 = .05). Confidence levels are chosen by the researcher and are generally either 99% (if you want to be really really stringent), 95% (if you want to just use the common value) or 90% (if you want to be a little more lenient).

Awesome video. Thank you for sharing this knowledge
This was extremely helpful
Great mam ❤️🔥
You are welcome! Regards Hannah
Hello, what technique could I use when I have numerical independent variables and categorical target variable?
Already answered at your other comment : )
Awesome ❤
Excellent ❤
Thanks : ) Regards Hannah
Thank alot madam clearly explained
I missed how you got expected values by hand
Hi, thanks for your feedback, please have a look here: datatab.net/tutorial/chi-square-test
I really like your voice :)
Please make video on Mc Nemar’s Test
Very helpful video
Thank you. Sangat membantu
You are welcome : ) Regards Hannah
Could you show some examples in python or juypter book
Maybe in the future! Thanks for the tip!

thank you ! you are grerat
How did you get the expected frequencies?
For each cell, (row_total * column_total)/grand_total

why 0.05 is taken as significance value?

Do you know what are the procedural guidelines of research methodology?
If yes pls reply my exam is on Tuesday.
