Truly this is an excellent example dealing with devils, you give everything and get nothing.
I thought biblically accurate dealings with devils was were you just had to be very specific with what you say, like saying "I want a million bucks" he would give you a million bucks like the animals, but even saying "I want a million dollars he would probably just give you a 1 million dollars in fake money.

I can't wrap my mind around how one dude can be so insanely talented as an animator, an incredibly gifted voice actor, creative enough to come up with all the weird, off-the-wall stuff he does, and also manages to write dialogue like a world-class poet. I'm waiting to find out if MeatCanyon is also an award-winning sculptor, classically trained pianist, world-famous pastry chef, and has published scholarly articles in the New England Journal of Medicine. I sound like I'm man-crushing on the guy, but MeatCanyon, you are very good at what you do.

A little detail I noticed was if you watch lightning’s eyes at the end for a single frame he looks up. Whether this was at thomas or god, idk, but little details like that make Meatcanyon’s work more than just a meme

FR, he’s a great animator but an outstanding voice actor. He could easily do ASMR or audiobooks and I would be still satisfied. Very introspective and has a calm tone that goes straight to your soul

Normally the whole *”Sell me your soul”* cliche is just a cliche, but this feels like it has weight to it.
All the other cliches were so easy to read.this one was well constructed so it stands out much further than the others.

Thomas voice could be described as eerie, solemn,,soothing and seductive. The kind of voice to tempt yo into giving yourself to him even knowing of the danger of taking the deal with such a fearsome inter dimensional creature.
I just noticed that his tongue curls up with his "L's" like you normally would. These small details don't go unnoticed.

I’ve seen every meat canyon video, and this one by far is the most well executed. The visuals, audio, dialogue are just amazing.
The audio quality of this channel is phenomenal. The animations and stories are great, but listening to these with headphones adds a whole other layer. Beautifully done.

As an old Thomas and Cars fan this all fits perfectly.
This is probably his best video.
Lightning lured Mater out there to offer his soul to Thomas. Lightning didn’t survive the wreck, he did accept Thomas’ deal. That’s why he’s so concerned about nobody knowing that him and Mater are alone in the wilderness.

The sound design of that dream is horrifyingly beautiful.
The dreamworld has a tree that's living on the right and dead on the left. Thomas appears from the right tunnel and leaves through the left. You comes into existence from the darkness of the tunnel, living life on the open tracks where you can actually see, only to return back into the darkness when you die.
McQueen being placed in the center of birth and death implies his status of being alive. He was being asked by Thomas whether he wanted to stay where he was, or be taken along with him to the left tunnel, death.
Amazing analysis
Thomas was trying to fool Lightning into thinking that there was anything but darkness where he was going. That beyond the left tunnel was the best things the world has to offer.

But is a life without pain and heartache worth living? An endless amount of everything you want turns into its own torture. Health and happiness are only enjoyed because they are fleeting and interrupted. Pain is the salt that makes happiness sweeter when it comes.
I disagree. Here's a question, would you want me to torture you to "give your life meaning"? If good can only exist with bad, wouldn't that make the good better by comparison?
Good is good on its own. It doesn't need contrast, I believe that people saying good requires bad is a form of learned helplessness. It's the human condition, for all of history and beyond there's been nothing we can do to stop suffering, so it's easier to accept it. Now, it's starting to be different. We're starting to have the resources to heavily reduce suffering, genetic engineering is in its infancy and could halt aging as well as genetic conditions, an abundance of resource gathering techniques, more food than we actually need. If we could put all it together, we could vastly reduce the amount of suffering in the world.
In order to take that next step though, we will have to get rid of that learned helplessness and pursue to create something better than fleeting moments of health and happiness.
